Greater than one weekI purchased this to upgrade from an older i7 4790k processor which in its time was no slouch and still did well to keep up with most apps and games. But I felt it was time to bring my PC up to date and rather than change to AMD I kept faith with Intel.

> 3 dayI got this package today and the cpu was dead on arrival. I can’t stand when this happens because I need my pc right now!! Every time I hook up cpu power my pc dies and won’t boot. I did everything I was supposed to in order to make it run and it still won’t. It’s a faulty cpu. I don’t understand why. (Update) The cpu works fine! It’s a great cpu. Turns out my motherboard was dead.
