Seems like it is warming up nicely, decent size, and works great with the thermostat I bought along with it for my ball python :)

So far so good, Ive been using this for about a month with only one minor complaint. The heat source the mat produces is centralized more in the middle, Id prefer a more even spread of the heat. A thermostat is a must btw, this mat gets way to hot if you dont regulate it.

I have this on one side of a low profile terrarium whose footprint matches that of a 10 gallon tank. Theres about an inch of bark/mulch substrate. I keep it cranked pretty high - Im trying to walk the line between the surface temp getting too high and the tank temp getting to where I need it. Currently, this line keeps the tank at around 82 on the warm side. Im disappointed. Its simply not good enough.

One of my ball pythons heat pads burnt out so I ordered this one in a hurry and I couldnt be more pleased. Just as described, have had no issues with it! Highly recommend.

The heat mat gets a bit too how and it burned through my PVC enclosure. Then again it said not to use it on plastic. I have hopefully fixed the issues for my ball python by placing a sheet of glass under my pvc enclosure and sticking the heating mat to that instead.

I did the research ahead of time but you need a thermostat FOR SURE! The mat doesn’t get as hot as you would think, or gets way too hot. Thermostat gets rid of that problem. Smaller than I thought it would be but does the job.

Glue not sufficient. Fell off of tank glass within 2 months at 90 degrees regulated. Heat is good, but glue is not. Back to the market, I guess. Can’t return it.

Would recommend. Easy to use. can only really stick once, though. Great for terrariums!
