I read other reviews before buying the item. Some said it was heavy. It really isnt heavy. Its heavier than the plastic scoops but I expected that since this is sturdier. As to the stickiness, yeah probably some. Ive used it for a while now and I plan to get a container that would hold the scoop so I can soak it when I do my weekly cleaning. Otherwise, I love the slat size. It picks up smaller debris that I couldnt with my plastic scoop. Love it!

With 2 cats and 2 litter boxes, it became clear that the plastic scoops I was using would not last much longer. Caked-on litter at the bottom required something a bit more sturdy. I ordered a set of 2 metal scoops. They do the job much more confidently, and as a bonus for me, the scoop is heavy enough in the wastebasket to serve as a door stop. Litter shakes off easily with a tap.

If your cat takes human size poops like man does, then you need this shovel. The size is perfect for scooping, the poop doesnt stick to it and it comes with a wall mount. Excellent value for the price. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I love this litter scoop. Its made of sturdy metal that wont warp when scooping out the litter box. Plus its very easy to clean.

Its got one job and it does it well. Feels good in the hand and is very sturdy. Better than the store bought brand metal scoop that we have for the other litter box. Highly recommended.

Cat presents have always been a problem to clean. The shovels made of plastic bend and are hard to clean. I have 4 cats in the house with 2 very large litter boxes that are cleaned every day. I clean the shovels outside every 2 days with a hose on the hard stream. Cleaning left over poop isnt a problem, bending or breaking cat shovels is never considered. I own 2 now, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs.

I originally picked this expensive scoop because it was available for same-day delivery. But I love it. Yes, I love a litter scoop. Incredibly solid and well made. Non-stick and large makes quick work of my large litter box.

I dont know about you, but our cat - yes, just one and only 11 pounds - uses the box A LOT, if you know what I mean, and I hate to have to dig and scrape and go after the smaller pieces. I finally looked around for a stronger scoop and this metal one does the trick. Cuts elbow grease - and TIME - in half, or more! As the photo shows, my plastic scoops (in yellow) keep crumbling, Now I no longer dread cleaning the box and theres a lot less litter around the box for me to sweep up. My only wish is for a slightly smaller version - this one has a lot of heft.

This is an excellent litter box scoop. It really makes cleaning the litter boxes much easier than Ive experienced with other scoops. I highly recommend this one.
