My siberian forest cat loves these brushes so much that he wont let me brush him with any other brush. Lil slicker kitten brush makes him purr hard. he has a triple coat with super long hair. I dont have a problem brushing long cat hair with this brush. My dsh tortie kitten doesnt seem to care one way or the other about brushes, she doesnt need daily brushing.

I have used these for years as a professional dog groomer. I was sad to find our local pet store stopped carrying this brush. This is my FAVORITE slicker! Great for paws, faces, and removing small knots in small breeds. Great for back brushing too. If your a professional groomer these are a must have! Theyre a greattool to have. If youre not a professional, this will still be a good brush. Just be sure to get a metal comb to check your work! If you cant comb your dog, we cant give Bella the hair cut you want!

The bristles are coated so they are nice and gentle for cavoodles, they don’t pull any hair out but still make the fur nice and soft while still removing knots without hurting the puppy.

I like the small size of this, regardless of which pet Im using this on. I bought it to brush through the unruly coat of our wee terrier mutt mix, and even though her coat gets ratty quickly between brushing, she doesnt object at all to use of this slicker brush. Shes medically fragile, so I treat her pretty delicately and was worried the metal spines would be too rough, but they each have a tiny white plastic tip so its not sharp. Our terrier clearly likes the experience, and stays relaxed throughout getting brushed. Our larger lab mix doesnt need brushing at all, but gets jealous over the attention the smaller dog is getting, so we brush him with the Lil Pals Slicker Brush as well, and he LOVES it. It does great on our cat too, who purrs through the brushing session. Its so popular in our house, Im nearly tempted to see if our hygiene-challenged teen would take to it.

My cats love this so much, Im coming back for a spare, and an additional brush to take to the cat adoption center where I volunteer.

Only brushes I have found that my cats not only tolerate but love. Does good job of removing loose hair which cuts down on hair balls.
