This does exactly what I wanted it for.

To replace my bench grinder wire wheel.

Though wire wheel is 8 inch but the centre part thats goes on the shaft of bench grinder is too thin so we need to add additional washers to tighten the screw other than that its good..just need to make some modification while installing the wheel

Good inexpensive wheel. Fine wire better than coarse or medium, less material degradation.

Vibrates badly, maybe due to being out of balance and uneven density of wires, which spread out much wider than the stated 9/16 face width). Also, the wheel hub and plastic bushing is only about 1/4 wide, so not much surface touches the shaft, which facilitates a lot of wobble, but I thought this should be solved by squeezing it between some washers. I tried this, but still a lot of vibration and wobble. The pressure plate disks that come with my Black & decker 6 grinder dont fit well on the sides of the wheel hub either--not quite on the inner plate part or the outer wheel, but right on the edge where it bevels in, so theres no precise place for it. I dont see how anyone gets these wire wheels to work right.
