Unlike some of the other reviewers, I cant offer any details or comparisons to other JBL products. I have an awesome JBL system in my car but this is the first boombox from them that Ive tried. I have to say that we really like the boombox. Weve used it for some fun sized dance parties a couple of times with great success. But, were mostly making use of this outdoors and we really love it. The sound quality is amazing and the balance of tones is phenomenal (at least until my husband gets hold of it and turns the bass way up). We love the bluetooth feature and I often plug my phone in for a charge while were in the pool. The price point is high for what I would normally consider for a boombox, but as long as this one lasts, it is definitely worth the extra cost.

This thing is super loud last forever and can even charge my cellphone!!!! Definitely worth the money for someone wanting a good sound

Overall, I am really satisfied with this Audio device. I believe it to be at a decent price point (even if I would like to have purchased it on the Black Friday type of sale to have been able to save $100 to $150.)

My JBL boombox2 speaker sounds is not working, so how can I get my money back or how can I sent this speaker back to Amazon.

Im not going to pretend a music expert but this is a great outdoor speaker for rock and alternative. You can hear every guitar cord, the vocals sound amazing and the bass blew my mind. I love how the explanation point on the side moves with the music! My phone doesnt take great video so dont judge the sound quality by the video - its much better in person.

I am so glad I got this speaker. Its only been a few days but wow! I am impressed! I am a huge JBL fan. Their products rock. I have 2 clips, 1 charge (the original charge 1 has been working for yeaaars!) and a flip 4 but wanted something loud and powerful with a long lasting battery. I got this on a deal on one of those amazon days. Registered it right away too incase I ever have an issue in the future. I can see why all the great reviews. It just sounds crazy good. Amazing bass on all the right songs and when I played it on full blast with something mellow (example Freya Ridings crystal clear voice) it was crisp & beautiful and just perfection! wow!!!! Its not my everyday speaker because its so powerful and I use the flip 4 mostly but when Im wanting to blast it outside or Im gonna have a party or clean the house or go to the pool or whatever this is gonna be my go to. The fact itll charge my phone is even better as I always drain most of my battery when Im at a friends pool for the day. This is the new speaker Ill be taking on my outings. LOVE my JBL boombox 2!

I like this but kinda big to carry
