I love my new purse

I am in a quandary right now...I am not sure that this bag is authentic Michael Kors. The MK is grayish in color stamped on the bag, the stitching on the leather strap is irregular and the gold MK hangtag does not have leather behind it like the ones in the stores.. Please advise.

This is my weekend purse for errands during for the spring and summer months. It is perfect. It has enough space for all of my necessities and it fits comfortably across my body.
