> 3 dayI debated back and forth on budget projectors. Many of the comments/questions had answers that took both sides of the things I was asking. So .... here is my side - Fan Noise: Using outside, I didnt even know the projector was running it was so quiet - Brightness: Excellent. Even with some ambient lighting it still had a quality picture. Once dusk hit. WOW - Throw: A bit closer of a throw that I wanted, but that does also mean it will cast a large picture from further back - Sound: Its there, its ok, youll want speakers. Good in a pinch in a quiet room. I didnt buy it for the sound - Versatility: Has all the plugs and connectors - Remote Control from Front/Back: Yep - Customer Service: SPOT ON and PROMPT Cons (more nitpiks): - having to adjust the lens for the cap is a pain, but it is what it is

> 3 dayI will say right off the bat that my first experience wasn’t good. I got a dud it had a big tadpole shaped blotch on the screen and I wasn’t sure it was the upgraded version. Well jimtab was extremely quick to send out the replacement via Amazon and I am impressed. From all the very positive images here and reviews on YouTube I think I just got a dud the first time. It happens. The one I ended up with though WOW! Talk about value for the money. Great picture great brightness works very well with a fire stick. Only thing I would advise is to turn off their noise reduction as it can cause juddering. Once off tho good motion and color. Perfect for movies and tv. For games you probably want to use a tv in this case if it is fast paced but hell a couple hundred bucks for this? Best couple hundred I’ve ever spent.

> 3 dayThe M18 v1.0 is probably one of the best budget projectors on the market. Its picture quality is great (so much better than $100 budget projectors), its brightness is decent for most room lighting conditions, and its sound quality is good. The fans/motor noise is loud, but you tend to not notice it after a couple of weeks. Strategic projector placement and external speakers may help. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend any native 1080p projectors, and specifically M18, to any friends/family looking for a mostly enjoyable projector viewing experience. Breakdown incident - after unplugging it for the holidays (~6 days), we plugged it back in and suddenly it wouldn’t turn on. We troubleshooted with new power cord and using other outlets, but still no power (besides faint green light on power button). After communicating with customer service via email, they kindly agreed to send us a new replacement projector free of charge. We’ve had it for a week now, and things appear to be working great again. Long story short, when the projector works as expected, it’s great; when it doesn’t, JIMTAB support will help you troubleshoot and eventually take care of you properly, so it’s great then too.

> 3 dayLove this projector, I was skeptical on buying one with so many budget projectors that I ran into this and saw reviews on youtube as well and dam this thing is worth it, very happy with my purchase, very bright, sound is pretty good as well , fan noise is there but the sound blocks it out which is a plus

> 3 dayWell, I had a long review written and accidentally lost it by trying to drag an image to the image thing. Here goes again: Youre getting a pretty bright projector for the money. It holds up in day time light so long as a draw a curtain. You can see that I can put two dimmed lamps next to it and it still looks great. Black levels loose a bit of contrast/grey as compared to a normal TV, but thats expected. Software is adequate, I dont think the audio settings do anything based on my testing with headphones. Internal speaker is surprisingly functional, and works on the go and gets the job done. Not something Id want to use regularly though. Keystone adjustment only does tilt, so you need to make sure its mounted squarely if youre doing that. Focus works without issue. Just be sure to measure properly when you go to mount a screen - image size is only going to be worth controlling by physical movement. You have the option to scale the image down in software, but its not a good alternative. Mine arrived with fingerprints visible on the lens when you turned on the unit (cant see them on the screen). Trying to clean them with a microfiber cloth revealed that theyre internal, either in the lens housing on the backside or on the image itself. Im going to have to take the unit apart to clean it properly and am not sure if thatll still give me access to remove them. QA could use a bit of work here. Images here are from a 100 diagonal screen projected on a wall which works perfectly well, but will look better once I mount a screen. Overall, pleased with the purchase, annoyed with the fingerprints.

> 3 dayI really like this projector because it was cheap and looks great. I use it for around 107 inches on a wall without a screen. Looks really good on my white wall. I would buy a screen but Im too lazy to install it lol. Picture quality is great! some smaller font will come out blurry in the corners. For example, if you use this with a PC, your clock at the bottom right will look blurry but still clear enough to read. You wont notice this kind of thing while watching stuff. I was going to buy a 4K 75 Inch TV for like $800 but Im glad I chose this for $250 instead. It may only be 1080p but the sheer size of the image will blow you away.
