I tried to save some money on this charger rather than buying the Garmin 735xt charger. Returned X1 charger and got the 735xt which worked great on my 230. Save yourself some time, and buy the 735xt!

> 3 dayMy original Garmin charger had a problem with one of the pins so I had to fiddle with the position of the charger on the watch to get it to charge. Eventually it stopped charging altogether so I needed a replacement. This charger is actually much better than my original. The cord is longer and the watch begins charging immediately with no fiddling.

> 3 dayUsed it 2 days and it over charged my garmin watch. Em usually with original chargers it charges 98-99% when I keep it over night. But, with this charger i saw it charged 103% which is scary because it will reduce the watch life. I had to return however.
