> 24 hourI use this for acrylic powdered pigments and even though its quite a bit more expensive (than alcohol), it works to dissolve pigments almost immediately. With additional pouring mediums - this product does the job so well, I dont want to mess with figuring out anything else. Its made my life easier for my acrylic pours.

> 24 hourThis clear varnish is not clear. It has a yellow tint like most varnish. You cant put it over white or youll see that its not clear. The promo I saw showed everything crystal clear., but once I got it, it wasnt. I will not use again.

Directions For Use
Jo Sonja Polyurethane Gloss Varnishes provides a protective coating of exceptional toughness for indoor or outdoor use. Dries clear and is easy and safe to apply. Leaves a durable gloss finish.

- Can be utilized as a painting medium.
Finish Coat Directions: • Use Varnish full strength. If thinning is necessary, add drops of Flow Medium or Retarder. Do not over dilute.
• Apply thin layers in a criss-cross motion using a soft but firm bristle brush suitable to surface size.
• Smooth coat with final brushstrokes in the direction of the wood grain.
• Allow to air dry a minimum of an hour before applying additional coats. Drying time varies depending on climate and humidity.
• Apply three coats before sanding. Sand lightly if 24 hours have lapsed between coats to ensure proper adhesion.
• For alcohol resistant finish or for outdoor use, apply a minimum of 4 to 5 coats of varnish. Allow to cure a minimum of 2 weeks before use.
Note: Not recommended for use over oil based paint or oil based antiquing finishes.
