Well constructed and should last a lifetime if not vandalized. Mailbox was larger than expected, which was a plus as medium packages will easily fit inside it. Would recommend it to a friend without hesitation.

I received the mailbox which has not been opened because it is a CHRISTMAS gift,it will be opened 12-28-13, the deer mailbox ornement, was in perfect condition, and it was what I expected it to be. These mailboxes are beautiful and very well made and heavy. I am very pleased.

My husband has always loved John Deere tractors. We had a John Deere mailbox, but all the decals and the color had faded. This is a replacement for the old one. It is a large box, and many items can fit into it. We have many people who have worked for John Deere living in our community of Sun City, AZ, and as such our mailbox was not showing well. Now it looks great.

I highly recommend this mailbox. My husband collects toy John Deere tractors. I was looking for something special for his 70th birthday. When I saw this mailbox, it was just the perfect gift. When it came it was much more beautiful than I could imagine. He was so surprised and just loves it. He even got a metal post and painted it John Deere yellow to put the mailbox on. We have gotten many compliments on this mailbox from neighbors and friends.
