> 3 dayMy son who is 7 is just starting out typing, and I played this game and it is a lot more advanced then I thought it would be. Its more for older kids that have a lot more experience with typing.

> 3 dayThis tutorial is fun for me and my grandchildren and would spend time with it even if I didnt want to improve my typing skills to using at least four fingers. Thank you.

> 3 dayIt looks like a great product, but it wont run on my computer. I tried tech support, and they suggested another product. You have to have QuickTime running on your computer for it to work. If you dont have QuickTime, dont buy it. I tried downloading QuickTime, but it isnt working either. I tried to uninstall QuickTime, but now it wont uninstall properly. I really wish I could get this to run. My son was really looking forward to using it.

> 3 dayMy ten-year old hated this program. The games were extremely juvenile and very boring. . . maybe would have been kind of fun at school in 1986 because it looked like something someone designed in 1986. I had to FORCE my millennial child to play this. I tried it a couple days in and realized it is actually really really bad. Additionally, the cd never really went over where to put your fingers. My son was still two finger typing. The whole point of purchasing this thing was to teach him to type. Now I am out $9 and my son is now very resistant to learning to type because he associates it with this horrible cd. Id say were worse off then before I purchased it.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my son to practice with during summer break from school. He enjoyed using it and getting to feel as if he was playing a game while he was learning...good buy!

> 3 dayMy 10 year old son would spend hours playing (actually learning and practicing typing) if I let him. His typing/keyboarding has improved in a very short time.

> 3 dayI purchased for my daughter, and as a beginning typer I thought that this would work well for her. It might if she enjoyed playing it. I guess I was thinking of the old programs we used as youngsters in keyboarding class and this just isnt it. For older kids it may but for the younger age group I wouldnt recommend

Greater than one weekMy seven-year-old son says Jump Start Typing isnt as much fun as Pokemonon his Nintendo DS, but, really, what is? With a bit of encourgement he does practice typing for 10 - 20 minutes a day. Im seeing progress, although it is still early.
