Kanto Full Motion Flat Panel TV Mount, Black (PX600)

This is an incredibly great mount for your flat screen TV. We have a TV cabinet that housed our behemoth 32 CRT television. With an upgrade to a flat screen I modified the cabinet by installing a false wall in the huge cavity required of the old TV. I built the wall inside the cabinet, placing it close to the front of the cabinet with enough depth so the flat screen could be stowed and the doors of the cabinet closed. In addition, the cabinet is not centrally located in our viewing area so I needed to purchase a TV mount allowing the screen not only to extend outward but also pivot to be angled for the ideal viewing position. If you think the only choices in TV mounts are what you can find in the Big Box Home, Discount and Electronics stores you need to check out whats here on Amazon. In my situation I needed a mount that had good extension from the wall so I could angle the TV and so it would clear the cabinet; the Kanto unit fit the bill. How much a TV will swivel once its extended from the wall is based on how far out the mount will extend and how wide your flat screen is. Using a tape measure I did my homework using measurements provided on the Kanto and Amazon websites to see how they would translate for my needs. The Kanto is a well-built mount and solidly extends to its maximum. Swivel function is also a solid feature. The tilt and rotation of the of the screen are adjusted as part of the setup once the TV is mounted. Tilt and rotation, in order to make them adjustable, require careful tightening of the associated nuts and bolts for these functions; too loose and the TV wont stay as adjust and too tight you cant easily make the adjustments. The handling of the cables on the extension arms is done quite well and keeps things neat and secure. The extension and swivel functions work easily (once you tweak the bolts for these points) and the tilt and rotate require a little more trial and error to get things dialed in. Once you get it squared away the mount is incredible. I highly recommend this mount to anyone looking for a strong and smoothly operating mount. It provides great range of motion, articulation and feels and operates solidly.

This product works well, easy to install and attach my 75 TV. It also holds the TV closer to the wall so it looks more like a picture frame. Cord management feature is nice as well.

This thing is amazing. It is so sturdy. I did not expect the hardware to be laid out in a box and labeled so well. Installation of my 65 was easy even with my helper being my 110lb wife. You will of course want to measure 6 times and drill once. Well worth it. (My measurements were off by like 3/4 inch and while the wife cant tell I see it). The articulation is amazing. When I bought this I had no idea I would feel so confident it wasnt going to drop my TV but here I am. Will definitely buy another if I decide to hang the other TV.

I mounted this into my existing cabinet to replace my old CRT TV which died. I had to create a simulated wall to support the bracket. I used the screws from the given assortment and I purchased more hex nuts to fasten the bracket. Worked fine. I love that I can pull out the new flat screen far enough to turn it in any direction for viwing.

Just what we needed

Ive messed with a lot of tv mounts for myself and others, but after my first Kanto a few years ago, thats all Ill buy now. Their products are awesome in regards to quality, functionality and theyre easy to install. Ive never once worried about them and recommend them to family and friends. I dont like doing reviews because it often isnt something I care enough about, but these guys do it right. I remember on my second purchase I had some questions and I was able to call and get real help from a real person and it was super helpful. Never looked back. Definitely something Id recommend.

The mount is sturdy, built with high quality materials, it swivels really well, neither too flimsy nor too rigid. The instructions and the video are very clear. Kanto provides all nuts and bolts and spacers you might need. The PX-600 is exactly the same as the PDX-650, except that the former has magnetic covers over the wall plate.

Very happy with the purchase. The device comes packed nicely, and was very strong and sturdy. Installation was easy for one person, minus the lifting the TV portion.
