Update I purchased this bag November of 2019 and it has been a great bag that has a Nice design, holds a lot of stuff, & I use it often. You can use it as a carry on.

So far this thing has been amazing, took it on a trip to vegas and it fit in the overhead bin with the bag packed to the brim, and now during this review Im using it as a weekend bag visiting family for the holidays, zippers and materials are top notch, overall its a great bag worth every penny

I bought this bag to replace my 28 5+ year old Cabalas duffel bag. On my old bag one of the shoe pockets was worn-out (it had two) and it was big, black and nylon. Not that attractive and a bit big for a gym bag. I was tempted to buy another but luckily for me it was discontinued and I found this bag instead. This bag is attractive and seems to be well built. I use it about 5 days a week when going to the gym before work. I believe it will give me several years of use. The shoe compartment will hold my shower sandals and my work shoes and still leave room for clothes. The size has forced me to pack better than my old bag, which isnt a bad thing. I recently took it on an overnight trip and it worked great for a carry on for the plane. (Something my old bag was too big for) I prefer a bag to some hard case wheeled carry-on. The zippers seem to be very sturdy. I like leather zipper tabs on all the zippers. I do wish that the side pockets had the dual zippers like the main compartment but that isnt a big deal since truthfully Id probably only use one zipper anyway. The zipper by the shoe compartment is odd to me and for my use unnecessary. It allows you access to the main compartment. I am guessing that someone that travels a lot may make use of it if they put something there that want to get to quick but I never use it. The side pocket on the other side of the bag from the shoe compartment is where I keep my necessities. Even though I keep most of those items in my necessities bag, I like that fact that those items are separate from my clothes. There doesnt seem to be a lot of choices for bags that have the shoe compartment in this size. I am tempted to buy a second as I fear that when that day comes that I need to retire this one that I may not be available find it again. I do not think youll be disappointed if you buy this bag. I have not been.

I have used this for several trips now, and it holds a lot more than you would expect. It is easy to carry either rover your shoulder with the strap or with the handles, and the zippers / pouches open easy yet stay secure. It also collapses down and doesn’t take up too much space when it is empty and you need to store it.

This duffle bag was exactly what I needed to put on the back of the motorcycle for a trip to Canada, very sturdy and it holds a lot. Although I did ride in some rain it was not enough to prove that it is waterproof however it di keep everything dry in a light rain.

I wanted a carry-on bag that I could store my laptop and a change of clothes. One that could be smashed into the overhead bin if needed. This dude made it to Paris, across the countryside and back. I would recommend it to anyone whos looking for an alternative to carrying a backpack. It has a cool retro feel with the canvas outer layer, nice flannel lining on the inside and leather accents on the pockets. I wouldnt call it a duffle bag though, its sized more like a large gym bag or overnight bag.

This duffle exceeded my expectations. The coffee-colored canvas is no-nonsense and attractive. It is sturdy,lightweight but solid, has many compartments with high-quality zippers, and the weathered leather gives it a Yeah, Im plannin to travel to a lot of faraway places masculine look. Perfect for the outdoorsy adventures well use it for.

My order just arrived. Immediately upon opening the box I noticed the picture did not have accurate color. Its labelled as Black Grey, but the picture was more of a grayish blue, which I thought went well with the brown accents. The actual item is very much a pale gray, with no blue tint. I wish I would have known this, as I probably would have went with the green instead of the gray. The bag itself seems to be well-made, although I havent packed it up yet. Well see how that goes this weekend.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my fiance to replace an old beat up duffel bag. He goes out of town a lot for work and he absolutely loves this bag! It was perfect size for his carry on when he flies and to haul around when he gets sent out of town overnight. He loves all the space in it and the smaller pockets without it being huge. His only downfall is he cant use the shoe compartment if his bag is full of clothes for longer trips. He still finds a way to make it work though.
