Use this for Linux and works like a charm. I have another for word documents and I use it often and hasnt given me a single issue yet. Great product.

Why buy cheap no name memory to save 1 or 2 dollars? I always buy Kingston, or Sandisk and never worry about about bad or corrupted memory.

Bought this to use as a MP3 storage device to plug into my wifes car USB slot on a Toyota Highlander. The memory takes a power up every day and used on and off without failure. Value priced and good value.

a little binded at the connector when arrived. once unbinded easily with a screwdriver, it worked well.

Does what it should, has the storage listed. The protective sleeve does NOT stay extended when in my pocket leaving the USB plug exposed, that is my primary issue with it.

The other reviews arent lying about the write speeds, they have speeds compared to 2.0. That being said, other than that its a nice little flash drive. If it wouldve cost more, I wouldve definitely given it a 1* but for the price and how much storage you get its actually not bad, just dont expect 3.0 write speeds. The highest speed I saw through 10gb worth of data was 17mb/s, while the average was more like 5mb/s

I purchased this because it was on sale, and I wanted to have another usb stick for OS installs. However, when flashing a boot ISO to the drive, it ran so slow that I gave up completely, used an older computer with an older flash drive, redownloaded the Linux ISO, and wrote it to the bootable USB drive all before this one had even reached 20% completion... The thing was cheap but not worth it at all.

I have always been a fan of Kingston products and this flash drive is no exception! These drives are affordable enough that I dont mind when someone doesnt return it to me. Anyone that has used a flash drive in an office environment knows exactly what I am talking about! :)
