> 24 hourI thought this was a rather nice Amibo, A good quality figure like most of nintendos line. I am not sure if this is just a problem with me or with all of them but the right arm (the shield arm) seemed a bit loose. It feels like it could easily break off. As for the games it compatible with, the super mario maker sprite it unlocks is a bit nice, and I thought the Yarn yoshi skin was a bit cute. Though at the time of writing that about all for unique unlockibles , for most however it just kind of unlocks extra in game currency or something to that effect.

Monster Matt
> 24 hourIll be honest... Marth was never really one of my favorite fighters in Smash. Sure he is pretty agile and has a decent counter, but I always thought his moves were a bit dull. Especially after releasing the DLC of Roy, Roy is my top choice as a Fire Emblem Smash fighter, considering his moves are a combination between Marth and Ike. Anyways, I purposely got Marth for Fire Emblem Fates. You can challenge Marth to a battle in your castle, and after a third time, he can even join your crew! I plan on getting Ike next, and Roy when he gets released. These Amiibos give an edge to any game they are compatible with, and I certainly plan to collect more!

> 24 hourI recently reviewed the Shulk Amiibo from the Series 2 release. Much of what follows relates to both Amiibo’s in general, though I’ll specify below when I speak of Marth exclusively (or at least make the comparative notes obviously stated). Simply to share, as my bias surely affects my best intentions of a helpful review, I avoided purchasing any Amiibo figures until very shortly after the most present release of Series 4. That shared, due to a New 3DS mishap at a big box retailer, I was given store credit and with it, brought home my first 4 Amiibo (Series 1 Link and Zelda; Series 2 Toon Link and Sheik). After having these 4 Amiibo to experiment with, it was only after I truly made my first two Amiibo purchases (dare I say, invested), Series 2 Shulk and this figure, Series 1 Marth. I could not find the U.S. release of Marth at a price that competed with the Japanese release. After reading another review elsewhere, and realizing it doesn’t matter whether one has the U.S. or Japanese Amiibo release in terms of being able to port into Wii U and New 3DS XL games, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase Marth. My purchase of this Amiibo was wholly due to the excitement I have had in experiencing the gameplay of Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. for the New 3DS. I played the demo and while it was just so-so, still I remained quite expectant of what could be a great game experience due to the reviews I read by those fortunate enough to have more access beforehand. I have not been let down, neither by the game, nor with this particular Amiibo figure. As this is a review of Marth, the Amiibo figure, let me focus there on a number of points I hope will help you, the potential buyer of this out-of-print and increasingly hard to find figurine: As other reviewers before me have stated, comparatively this is a very well sculpted Amiibo figurine, though I must state this Amiibo is not quite at the level of Shulk, the most nicely sculpted Amiibo figure I have yet to own. Overall, Marth’s Amiibo presence is very much that of his game presence in Fire Emblem: a bit hesitant at first, but then comes into his own. Marth’s clothing and wardrobe in general is detailed and nicely painted (between the lines!), and his hair looks (just about) as good as it does in the game (LOL), but in some of the finer details of the figurine, there is a bit of a lack of detail…just enough to not quite be at the quality of Shulk (the high-water mark of Amiibo figures that I’ve seen thus far, admittedly, only about 6 or so). In terms of the actual sculpted figure, as with the other sword-wielding Amiibo I have, Marth’s Falchion divine sword is not perfectly straight, but bows slightly downward. Why is this? I do not know. Perhaps it has something to do with the heating and cooling process of manufacturing? Regardless, the materials (plastics) this Amiibo is cast in allows for the sword to be slightly misshaped. While this doesn’t bother me or affect my enjoyment of the figure, I can see more scrutinizing collectors of toys and figures to be irked by this oversight in the perfecting of manufacturing. Some Amiibo have colored or clear plastic supports extending from the base to the figure itself. Thankfully, Marth stands on his own two feet, so to speak (the base, however, like other Amiibo, has a strikingly similar “X” pattern as seen in contemporary X-Men comics, films, and the like). Rough dimensions for this Marth figure, from base to top of his head, is nearly 4-inches; from widest point to widest point (downward pointed sword tip to extended cape at the opposite side) is 3.5-inches. Regarding gameplay, the Japanese import has ported just as any other Amiibo has on my New 3DS. I would expect the same from others, especially with so many reports consistently claiming this is in fact the case. If it is not clear by now, I’m a collector of things, especially that which relates to Nintendo. Most of us seemingly having missed out on the U.S. release, is it worth it to purchase this Marth Amiibo for 2x-6x the MSRP? I cannot answer that for you, obviously, but having ported Marth into Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., if you decide to make the purchase, I hope your experience is as much fun as mine has been! Happy gaming and happy collecting!

> 24 hourI bought this figure online because I figure it will be impossible to get when it releases in the U.S. Even though it would retail at $12.99, I thought around $30 isnt THAT unreasonable for an imported product, and I know these will skyrocket in price once the U.S shipments are gone. The figure itself is very nice, better than I thought it would be actually. Zero Suit Samus is one of my favorite characters so I had to have this amiibo even if it did come at a higher price than usual. If you dont mind paying more for this figure, then I would suggest doing it as soon as possible, because especially with fan favorite characters, the price only goes up from here.

> 24 hourPackage was on time, came in good condition. Overall nothing wrong with the packaging itself... however Im rating this a 4 because its not what was advertised here. I was expecting the actual Super Smash Bros Kirby Amiibo as advertised. But still a great amiibo. It works with the new Kirby game and smssh bros. But this is not the correct product though. This neads to be listed as Kirby on Warp Star.

> 24 hourI would give it 5 stars if I couldve bought it without paying more than $14 which supposedly the set price by Nintendo! However I am happy with my Charizard amiibo Im gonna have to make some videos on Youtube through saved replays after Smash battles to compare how strong my Charizard amiibo is right now. Ive got him so strong that you cant even defeat if u play as Charizard too. I trained him using mostly fly and flare Blitz, I did manage to beat him with King Dedede one of my favorite fighters. My amiibo is now level 50 with maxed out speed! Hell he is so well trained he doesnt need to have any defense or attack stats. He always sneaks that grab attack and breaths fire on me one of his stunts I hate when he does it. When one guy was watching me he was like thats an amiibo? So I think he was impressed with how tuff he was. I got mine b4 the 29th ALSO he was a Japan IMPORT!

> 24 hourIt arrived 13 days for the expected delivery date, very pleased with the shipping speed! And Im glad I only spent $20 on this Japanese import Amiibo. Im also pleased that I bought this before the actual day its supposed to come out here in the US. Sadly I couldnt preorders these because the stupid server crashed in game stop. But now that I finally have charizard in my hands Im pleased! And soon I have a Robin and Lucina Amiibo coming in soon that are also Japanese imports. And next Im going after Pacman and Wario. While ness Ill deal with last. And as for this Charizard I have in my hands right now is awesome and its kicking butt in my team! Charizard will soon have a mind of its own and it will be unbeatable when its maxed out!!
