I use this in our construction trailer for lights, tool battery charging stations and phone charger. I don’t use the illumination light much but it’s there if I need to dig out a splinter with tweezers. Best power strip I’ve bought yet.

This is a seriously heavy duty power strip, and its AWESOME. {Yes, I geek out over tools and tech.} Why dont more power strips/surge protectors come with magnets on the back? This is genius. Makes it so much more functional. Being able to attach extra outlets someplace other than leaving the strip sit on the floor makes jobs requiring a corded too that much easier. Throw in the light and the two USB plugs, and this has become indispensable around our house. We live in a home built in 1960, and apparently back then they werent big on having plenty of outlets in their houses. Getting an electrician out to install more has been nothing but brick walls with how theyre so busy bouncing back after the pandemic. Having this beefy power strip with surge protection has been a huge help. Indoors, outdoors, on a campground - this thing cant be beat.

Strong magnets and bright LED lights when activated. I have this magnetically attached to the side of my fridge in my working garage. Holds in place. Does not slide. USB ports are an added touch. HigHly recommended! Great for man cave.

Every once in awhile I come across something that improves my life a great deal and I never even thought I needed it. This Klein surge protector is one such product. I have a workbench in my garage but only have one set of outlets near it. When I get going on a project, I am always screwing around with extension cords and what not. Total pain. I am mounting this to the brick wall in my garage. With the long thick cord it comes with I can run it from my outlet and mount it directly centered over my work space. You get four grounded outlets, 2 USB-A ports, and a USBC port so you can safely power both your tools and tech (without the bricks.) This surge protector is heavy duty and clearly built with quality in mind. It has a real heft to it. For me, this is simple. But now!

It’s nice to stick it on a metal surface and keep the plug sockets from having junk fall in them

I picked this up specifically because of the magnets on the back. Sticks good to the side of my table saw. The usb charging works well. It would be nice if the cord had been a few feet longer but overall I think it was a good value.

Whether you are a contractor or just have your own workshop in the garage at home, this new power strip from Klein Tools is a great addition to your toolbox. It has 4 regular outlets, 2 USB-A ports, and 1 USB-C port. Plus it has 2 LED lights on the front to illuminate the place where you are using it. It can be attached directly to any magnetic surface because of the strong magnets on the back. But there are also holes in each corner that allow you to hang it or mount it if there is no magnetic surface available. The possible uses for this power strip are only limited by your imagination.

I have always been very happy with the performance and quality of Klein branded tools. This one is no exception, but a bit of a departure of what you would expect to see with the Klein name on it. This very well made power strip has a couple stand out features that make it stand out from the crowd. Aside from the high quality, the magnetic base, compact size and the LED lights is what sets it apart. Oh, the USB-C deserves mention as well. The price is reasonable and you should have one in your toolbox.

Since APC surge protectors have gone through multiple recalls (overpriced junk), I saw this bad-boy online and figured lets take a chance. Glad I did. This feature rich surge protector is ideal for workshops, garages, etc. And Klein Tools generally manufactures quality toolings. One star off for price, but otherwise thumbs up!
