I have the CL220 which is new model so I was a little surprised to see it listed among the mnodels this fits. I figured Id have to buy based on other similar models using the same case and mount. And indeed this fits the CL220 fine as shown. It a good strong magnet. I thought the price was a bit high since it costs more than the magnet that comes with a strap. Im going to get that one too because I want the flexibility of having both. I do see the price dropp $2 the day after I bought one. Oh well. Seems to happen a lot. In any event it is a nice addition to the meter and being able to free up a hand is often, well, handy.

Excellent build quality! So far it has lasted me about 8 months on the job. Its great to to have it on the meter as its it so handy to just stick it to something. And it is very magnetic! Highly recommend!

This magnet fits the meter perfectly abs works very well. Would recommend it with this meter

Slided this on my Klein CL320 and it clicked into place. Magnet is strong enough to hold the meter in place on a steel surface. I noticed many earlier reviews that stated the clip would be too loose and disengage the meter. Well Klein FIXED THIS. They fixed it so well I cant get the clip off the meter. What I mean is I exerted as much force as I dared to pull it off and decided it was too risky to force it off. So OK Im going to keep the clip on as a permanent part of the meter now. It makes the fitting into the case a bit tighter but the upside is the clip will NEVER COME OFF ACCIDENTALLY. Note that this design does make some sense since repeated putting on and taking off would eventually loosen the fit. But be aware of this point if you want easy removal and installation.

I have this on my multimeter and I also use it on furnace door switches and so far it hasn’t come across a door switch it cant hold down.

Makes it easier to check voltage or ohm out a circuit without having to hold on to you multi meter.
