> 3 dayThis year our Christmas tree remote controlled plug bit the dust. Who wants to plug in the tree each morning? So I looked for something I could use in our smart home. This fit the bill perfectly. I plugged it in and set it all up with ease. Actually was one of the easier smart plugs I have set up. Does a great job. And you can’t beat the 2 for 18 dollars or so price. I was very impressed with the price.

> 3 dayAt first I thought it wasnt compatible with Alexa. After downloading the KMC app and connecting it to my skills, I tried one more time, and it worked. I set up voice commands in the settings of KMC on the alexa app. To change them, just go to routines.

> 3 dayI run a small 3d print farm. I have 3 printers each hooked to the 2 I have. I use them in case theres a problem with on of the printers & I can shutdown the individual outlet for that printer remotely.

> 3 dayI used to use a mechanical timer, but recently swapped to this. This product allows me to set timers with their smartphone app and monitor monthly energy usage. Great product

Greater than one weekDifficult to initially set up. Had to place unit right next to router, but once set was able to place in room I needed it in.

> 3 dayTried to attach the both devices to existing wifi and smart life app. Added another brands plugs within 5 minutes while over 30 minutes of trying did not work. Ive setup 80 iot devices, so the procedure is not new. New out of box but it wont connect. The receptacles are pretty tight though, which is nice. Unfortunately will have to return.

Greater than one weekI have alot of smart items in my home. These have recently become my favorite. I have recently started a massive indoor garden. Dozens of lights, thousands of plants. While my other wifi outlets are good at turning the lights on and off on schedule. These outlets are the only ones that show me how much power Im using. I have compared the powet usage info to some KillAWatt outlets and they are accurate.

> 3 dayModel 30608 was shipped to me in the end of November 2020. Used tuya-convert to upgrade firmware to the open-source Tasmota firmware without any issues. I used the following template without issue: {NAME:KMC 4 Outlet,GPIO:[0,56,0,0,133,132,0,0,130,22,23,21,17],FLAG:0,BASE:36} Now I can program the outlet to turn on and then off again after fifteen minutes -- perfect for when I forget to turn off the coffee maker.

> 3 dayFor the Wi-Fi and power monitoring functions, this works amazing with the KMC app. However, these do not stay in any outlet and will frequently just fall out. Unfortunately theres no way to properly stabilize it, unless you feel like breaking out the duct tape and attaching it to the wall outlet that way. A rather shoddy design, and a major flaw. They really should have made it so you could screw it into place, but its missing even that common feature.
