> 24 hourIve been using K&N filters on my 4x4s and now that Im back on my bike Im using K&N for my maintenance and performance. They K&N is easy to put on with a wrench, or strap wrench. Ive never had one that failed! I ride my bike through commuter traffic and my weekend twisty rides and with the heavy traffic I need an oil filter that was above par to handle the heat and high performance oil that I use. My track buddies also use K&N Oil filters and highly recommend them. The cost/value over standard brands is better when you know you put the best in to your bike.

> 24 hourI change my own oil on my XSR900 and love that this uses a hex wrench to attach rather than a special oil filter wrench. Overall Ive been very happy with this, the only problem Ive run into is that the nut at the top of the filter wears down a little after a year making it warp easily when trying to take it off again.

> 24 hourAbsolutely the best and cheapest KN-204 I could find. this specific model number is hard to find everywhere I check its always sold out. on top of that the price for one of these at lets say autozone is around 15 dollars, while amazon sells it for only around 9 dollars which is a killer deal when compared. If youre looking for this specific model number I wouldnt look anywhere else to get it.

> 24 hourThe design is fantastic. I was going back in forth between Fram and OEM for my 2016 CBR500R. Decided to go the K&N route because I always have to struggle with getting the OEM filter off. Setup was less than 5 minutes and the black looks great. Definitely lives up to the K&N name. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourFirst off people saying there having leaking issues, they have to be doing something wrong. I never once had a leaking issue with K&N. Also hand tight then a half turn with the wrench. I’ve been doing that for years and never a issue. I highly recommended this oil filter. The 17MM nut is amazing when taking off, I had a very bad experience with my stock R6 oil filter and it was impossible to get off, needless to say I never used a stock Yamaha filter again and always use K&N

> 24 hourI like it because of the ease to install with the twist off feature on the end of the filter. The shortness of the filter for my application, a 2013 Yamaha FJR 1300 motorcycle is bad and good. It went on easier because it is so short but I have a concern about its filtering capabilities also because it is so short. It is not as long as the OEM filter from Yamaha. I will see when the oil is changed next what kind of filings it has in the chamber. Otherwise it fit well and was my first time using this particular filter

> 24 hour--Fits 2017 Honda Rebel 500-- This information is hard to find so spread the word. With that out of the way, the oil filter is great. Heed the warnings left by other customers about the recalled units so check your number. Stay two wheels down . Happy riding.

> 24 hourCan just use a wrench to remove if you cant get in there with an oil filter wrench which is a lifesaver for some bikes. As with most things K&N, it works great and I would definitely recommend this over a generic filter.

> 24 hourI prefer the hex top for the ease of tightening and loosening the filter.
