Kraus KAG-1BG Dishwasher Air Gap, Brushed Gold

I noticed most of the reviews on here are for the soap pump, so I’m happy to provide insight on the air gap. Even though it took over a week to arrive, it’s here and I love it. It’s actual metal, stainless steel, that matches my faucet perfectly. The flat top detail is gorgeous and unlike any of the other ones I saw when researching them. I also love how this air gap cover has threads on the inside, so it actually screws onto the air gap pipe underneath, instead of just snapping on top of it. I would have liked the option to order just the cover and not the whole piece, but it gave us the opportunity to swap out our old air gap for a new, much cleaner one. Hands down would recommend this air gap. I can’t speak on the soap pump since I don’t have one.

Our sink cabinet interior is very crowded, with a large garbage disposal in front of the air gap, thus making my install probably more difficult than most. I discovered that the gasket that sits on the top side of the sink rolled/curled up when I had to twist the air gap to make it fit the space under the sink. That gasket is made of foam. It would have been nice if it was rubber like the one that installs under the sink. Since the foam gasket was ruined, I continued the install with plumbers putty. The stainless cover is solid metal and really well made. Overall I am very pleased, just knocked one star because a rubber gasket on the top side would have made this air gap perfect even for difficult installations.

Quality vent easy to install would buy again if needed

We got a Kraus sink from Home Depot but for some reason they didn’t carry these so I had to special order here on Amazon. Looks great with our sink, a perfect match. Highly recommend all of the cool accessories that are available for Kraus sinks. Total game changer and a great update to our builder grade home!

Somewhat cheap quality

Easy to install, well made and looks really nice.

This replaces a Kohler air gap. The fit is much better. The other was loose around the plastic connector tubing. This same with foam washer which passed the water leak test. Very happy with the finish. Look and quality of this piece. Haven’t heard of this brand and was hesitant. Good purchase.

Great choice

The the installation was slightly different from the one it replaced. Including a simple diagram would have helped. I eventually got it.

Works great. Easy install. Much sturdier than my delta I replaced.
