Our 6 year-old loves these so much and was so excited to get them for her birthday. The lights are fabulous. But within two weeks the laces had snapped, and within a month the strap that holds the metal loop that the Velcro strap runs through is tearing. Its only a matter of time before it gives out completely. The Velcro strap is the only part that cinches the skate tightly enough for her to use the skates, so they wont be useable for her once that breaks. The window for our return closed the day before we realized the strap was about to rip. So sad. For anyone considering sizing, they run a bit wide (hence needing to cinch the Velcro strap tightly).

My daughter loves them. We go skating every weekend shes at home. The wheels are indoor/outdoor wheels per the the owners of the rink we skate in but she doesnt have any issues.

Top to bottom, these are pretty good skates. There are several closures, including laces, a velcro strap, and a ratcheting plastic lockdown at the top of the boot, which means that they attach well and have good ankle support, particularly because the boot is a high top. The wheels and bearings seem well packed and well lubricated. They also easily and conveniently change size. These seem pretty solid and well built. The toe stop is too small and set too far back to be good for much, which is really the only problem with these skates. (Im also not sure that it will move forward as you lengthen the boot to make it larger, which will make this problem even worse.

I purchased these over 3 months ago to give to my daughter for her birthday this week. They seem to be well made and she loves them, however, they smell like cigarette smoke. They sat on a shelf for 3 months and I don’t think the smell lessened at all. We ran an ozone machine with them in a box at least twice and they still reek. I think I would have sent them back if I had known the smell wouldn’t go away.

From the description of these skates, I wasnt sure what size they would be. They are adjustable. My daughter (age 8) wears a size 3 shoe. At the largest size, they just fit her. They are easy enough to put on and off and skate smoothly. My daughter especially enjoys the light-up wheels. She has been using them quite a bit this past week and today one of the wheels fell off! I was able to fix it with a spare nut that I had in the house. These are fun skates, but not necessarily the best quality.

My 3 year old loved these beginner skates, the speed is hard to control. But overall my child loved them!

Very good product

I bought this for my granddaughter’s birthday and gave it to her the end of September. She wore them twice and the adjustable knob fell out. Unfortunately since I did not give them to her until three weeks after they were delivered my return window is closed.
