I like to spend time outside, but I also like to protect myself from the sun, so I thought this compact little umbrella would do the trick. Its hard to tell from just a few uses, but Im pretty sure it does have UV protection qualities, which is just what I want. To use it, you just undo the snap strap and press a button to open the umbrella. Its kind of difficult to close it, and Im not even sure if I have the formula right, but I think you just press in the button and start pushing the umbrella back down from the outside in the center to close it again. The difficulty closing it is one of my biggest complaints, but Im sure Ill get used to it with more use. I also wish the handle were more comfortable to hold. Im a fan of hook handle umbrellas because theyre more ergonomic. Since this handle is not a hook, my hand gets tired of holding it for long periods of time. But I guess thats the tradeoff you make to get such a small, conveniently-sized umbrella. I can fit this in my bag for any time its too sunny or rainy, and you cant beat that convenience. Overall, Im pretty happy with this little umbrella. The two flaws dont detract too much from its practicality, so I can still use it happily every time I go outside.

I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy this umbrella was. Not too heavy that its uncomfortable to hold, but heavy such that I anticipate it to be sturdy when it rains here in California. Because we are currently in a drought, and therefore not having much rain, I have not had the opportunity to use it in the rain yet. But, Im looking forward to it when the time comes.

Second Brillia was or is childs size small and cheaply feel and appearance. Large adult Brillia is nicely made and good functioning.

Please note; i said “up to” . So it’s not a guarantee both you and your loved one will fit . It may also mean that you must walk close together. Other than that, man does this thing feel study. I definitely feel confident fighting against the wind with this thing in a bad storm

Great umbrella… very sturdy. Not flimsy at all

This is a very large and very substantially sized umbrella. You can fit a couple people under it quite comfortably. It is heavy and can’t be carried in a purse unless it’s a large hobo type bag. I haven’t yet been able to test it as windproof as the weather around here is pretty mild and dry right now. I’m impressed with the quality I see thus far.

Even though this umbrella is week constructed, it is worthless to me because the open/close button does not work.

Love the color and the size but it is very difficult for me to close the umbrella. Its too strong and wouldnt close it, I had to ask someone to close it for me. Bummer that I have to return it.

the color is beautifu;, it is large enough for 2 yet folds down tiny for a carry on and is perfect for travel I use it on site seeing tours in tropical settings on cruises.
