Greater than one weekI purchased this beauty sponge holder/dryer for myself . I personally like to clean my beauty sponge After each use with a facial cleanser product such as the equate foaming facial cleanser. I clean it with warm water in and the facial cleanser until all the makeup into all the make up is gone from the beauty sponge. Once my beauty sponge is all clean I place it into my beauty sponge holder and within a few hours my sponge is pretty much ready to be used again. This beauty sponge holder really does help the beauty sponge to dry quickly and most importantly it helps the sponge not touch anything that can contaminate it or make it so that bacteria can grow on it. You can always use rubbing alcohol on the holder to clean it if desired or toner or simply wash it with cold water and soap. This is a good product and I would recommend it to a friend or family member.
