Layrite Original Pomade

No buildup, good shine, easy to wash out or run hands through my hair afterwards. I have issues with hair products and acne and this pomade is the best product Ive tried for that.

Washes out very easy with water. good hold, smells good. I used to purchase this at my barber but have moved from the area and now get it on Amazon.

Tip top pomade but so expensive .. as you have to use a fair amount and the pot is tiny .. Lasts about a month

Ive got dead straight hair. This gives it hold and volume without getting greasy. Smells good too.

Great hold, great smell. however i find it keeps my hair extremely straight and rigid, when i go for a softer more manageable look. Great product however for me the Super Shine Creme is the way to go Ive ordered 3 since i discovered it. I dont use any other hair product anymore and it smells fantastic.

300g tub is great value and lasts. i think the product is the best ive used + is so consistently under different conditions. lockdown hair no problem

Works ok, lasts all day, a little shine, a little greasy. Super strong vanilla scent. Not unpleasant, but you smell like cotton candy...actually had strangers comment.

Although the description does say 1.5 oz, this is a tiny can, not the actual real size. So small they can’t even fit a label on it! Slightly misleading when they show a full size can as the picture.

“By barbers for barbers” is the bottom line! Those were your words Donnie, Haha! Barbers these days don’t like the good old pomade of the old days like Dax and Murray’s. This is because it’s more difficult for them to cut. Lay Rite or any other non-petroleum based pomade that washes out in water is not going going to give you the height that greasers want. My advice is that if your barber doesn’t have a can of Murray’s on his counter, or complains about the pomade you’re using, ditch him!
