LEGO City Great Vehicles Snow Groomer 60222 Building Kit (197 Pieces)

I guess Im going to be one of the few less-than-stellar reviews on this set. I usually enjoy every Lego set I buy and in terms of the quality of materials, the aesthetics, and the general fit & finish this one was no different - excellent as usual. What disappointed me is the design and functionality of its main feature - the chain track drive. Based on the photos, I was really looking forward to building this because Ive never owned a Lego set with continuous tracks like this. When I finally got it together, I discovered it is REALLY clunky - even for Lego. It does not roll smoothly at all, especially on hard surfaces. To me this really makes a difference in the overall enjoyment and play value. I think they needed to spend a bit more time working on this one before releasing it. It just doesnt give you a good sense of thoughtful design or enjoyment in the way that it rolls and operates. Again, not that it doesnt look good - it just doesnt do its main function well. I feel it deserves 3, maybe 3.5 stars. ~DPL

Great Lego Set!

A good winter set!

My son loves this set! The snow cannon is unique, fun feature. And it’s one of the few LEGO sets with tracks, which he will use to build other things with his good imagination!

Got this for my grandson (Christmas gift). He really loves it.

Love legos!

I gave this set to a 7yo and he loved it.

My grandchildren love Lego sets and this one was a hit with my seven year old grandson. The snow groomer works great once assembled. If you have Lego lovers this one does not disappoint.

This little snow groomer kit has a surprising number of really fun touches that are great for budding builders. My son really loves the track tires on this set, and has constructed and deconstructed them a number of times just out of joy in seeing how they work and with many ideas for using them on future projects as well. The little six shooter on here is amazing, and provides a lot of active/interactive fun. And the mini figure with skis on is incredibly fun to glide around our Lego town and zoom around the house, skiing down homemade slopes. The build was fairly straightforward and didnt take my six-year-old too long. There were no confusing points where he needed help, and overall everything went as expected. I was surprised at how many special touches went into this little set.

My son likes that it shoots snowballs. Tracks work really well and was easy to put together. Fun toy and good addition to the Lego City in my (former) living room.
