If youre an Apollo mission and a Saturn V Fan, youll love this when its assembled!!!!! But, it is for an advanced builder, so I had it done by my 10 year old nephew.

Im not going to lie, I loved the absolute nerd factor of this one... Absolutely a fun one to build if you have a fascination with space like I do. The only thing that I can say thats negative about this whole fun product is that one part of the build, was that step 155 (page 109), WILL cause you to go mad if you dont use superglue for that entire spot that you have to make 4 times... This is the only time Ive ever recommended using glue on Legos, but if you dont, as soon as you try and snap on the pieces that go onto those pieces, you will be tearing that section back off to reconnect the parts that have seperated... I ended up using superglue and stopped trying to tear my hair out after that...

This is a big and complex lego model. I bought it for my son. He wanted the Lego Death Star. Im not spending $1,000 on a lego set. So, I got him the Saturn V rocket instead. He was unsure about it and we began putting it together. I handed him the pieces he needed for each step and he put it together. There were very few mistakes along the way becasue the instruction book is good (it even has great historical information in it). We did it in three settings. So, we got a lot of good quality time out of it. In the end, it is a great educational toy. The modules separate just like the original rocket. The lander is inside and it comes out. It has tiny lego guys that give you a sense of scale. In real life, this was a huge rocket. The assembled rocket is on a shelf he bought just to display it.

Had a great time building this model. Took me back to my younger years playing with Legos! Only one small issue (not sure if anyone else has experienced this) - The second and third stages don’t connect well and the side panels push out which doesn’t leave the end product looking very smooth. Minor issue but otherwise awesome product!

This is my favorite Lego I have built over the years. People throw that term around a lot, but this one is genuine. There were only a few areas where snapping in sections can cause the previously flimsy attachments to break off, but with a little extra care, you should have no problem. Once those pieces are in, the sections are locked in for a solid build. What makes this build so great is it is not just a display piece. You can separate out the multiple stages after complete and display or play with them separately. The look is great, the feel is great. Its a visual masterpiece and at 40 inches long, if you want to disapply this, you are going to need a lot of shelf space. I build it methodically over three days, but I could have completed it in one day if necessary. The graphics are build into the pieces, so no fumbling with stickers, which I always hated. This is an awesome set that any fan should have and the price makes it really seem like a bargain compared to other sets of this many pieces and definitely size.

This is an absolutely amazing set of legos. The stages of the rocket comes apart just how the real Saturn V would. Took my son several days to put it all together and kept him super interested in the history of the rocket That being said, it was missing 3 pieces and had an erroneous piece The manual has an overall parts list which is super helpful (but could be more helpful if it was separated by chapter/bag of parts, rather than entire set Early in the build my son complained he didn’t have a piece he needed. I know Lego is pretty strict so I figured he dropped or misplaced a piece. But that was when I was able to tell the remaining piece he had wasn’t even a part used in the entire assembly…period. Luckily the extra piece was a structural component that was oversized so when I was confident the part wasn’t correct, I cut a section off of it and was able to continue building Two other bags were missing a piece (which I was able to salvage from my sons other generic Lego sets) I was really surprised at the lack of quality control on this set. First time I’ve ever seen it

Has a lot of parts. But fun to put together. Great for someone who loves LEGOs
