> 3 dayI have had it a few days and I like it. Its hefty and reminds me of one of the old ibm laptops, and easy to work on and despite what the lenovo rep says YOU DO NOT need a licensed tech to upgrade the paltry amount of memory, just a screwdriver, a little patience, and 10 minutes of your time to take off the cover of the laptop, and the cover off the memory. The drive is a different matter, it uses a very small and expensive 2242 nvme drive, there is a full size nvme slot but no standoff to screw it into, and it looks like if you put in the full size nvme you will not be able to use the 2.5 in drive slot, I will update when I get more into it.

12-06-2025I loved the old thinkpad i had, so when the kids needed to go portable i thought lenovo might be a good choice. and the price was definitely good. middle of gaming half the screen goes full rainbow, with the other side black. power cycled and nothing, no beep no logo. i pulled the ram and still no beep. definitely dead, suppose the one good aspect is it has removable memory so at least my kid didnt loose all of their minecraft worlds. Im going to try contacting lenovo, and will update if they make it good.

> 3 dayI got this for my 12 year old. This is our first gaming laptop. From our experience, its a good beginners laptop for gaming. It is on the lower end price wise, for gaming laptops. I find its comparable to other brands with similar specs. If you are a hardcore gamer, I would say this might not be the one for you. This handles gaming and videos well, but I dont think itll be delivering the amount of content in high quality for more advanced games. My sons games that dont require large amounts of data or high resolution for playing. This provides the speed and graphics he needs, but also allows for quick access for homework and research. Keyboard lights up nicely, and makes it easy to identify keys in the dark, when he plays games. Key strokes are light and responsive. Its very user friendly and settings allow to customize parental controls. Battery life is decent. He keeps it on his desk most of the time, so hes always within reach of a power source, but Id imagine gaming drains the battery a little quicker than just browsing internet. He likes setting it up for watching movies and hasnt had any issues. This can more than handle what he needs it for and his gaming. More experienced and advanced gamers, might be wanting more. Storage might need to be expanded, depending on use, so whether you upgrade laptop or use external harddrive, might be something to consider when pricing and comparing.

> 3 dayOwned this laptop for a week now and been playing God of War with no hiccups. No regret buying this laptop, easy to open the back for upgrades. The only thing I dont like is no M.2 standoff to install a 2280 SSD. Now my Samsung EVO 970 is useless since I cannot install it. 4 Star unless Lenovo will provide free M.2 stand-off and screw :D

> 3 dayLove this computer and its capability to do just about anything. I am currently writing this review on the laptop. I am sure the description can give more details on all the operating statistics of this computer, but I can attest to the things I like in comparison to the other systems I have used. I do a lot of photography and I have had no issues with the speed of uploading photos from my external drives. This is the one thing I do not like about the system is that there is no disc or memory card drive. I love that there is a keypad since this feature is not standard on all laptops. The amount of memory on the computer is capable of playing Diablo II and there is no delay or timing out. I would highly recommend this product!

> 3 dayI needed a laptop that could support Xactimate for insurance adjusting. Thats a very heavy program and this laptop had never even stuttered. It works perfectly for what I need.
