Greater than one weekRefresh rate is as advertised but the color depth is terrible. Dark areas in both videos and games look horrendous. It looks similar to a display whenever you install a video card without the drivers on Windows. Ironically, I first noticed the issue by looking at the very product images on this page for this monitor. The photo of the powered off monitor looks like someone created it with water colors using only 10 shades of black. Also looking for drivers was a small adventure. It comes with a CD that only has a manual that mostly contains safety precautions and maintenance. When you go to LGs website and enter the exact model it says this product is not found (although the search suggestions has it listed [what the heck]). I have to google search which takes me to what appears to be an Australian variant of the software and downloads page. From there I found the drivers and OSD software. The software does not seem to play nice with your monitor if you made any adjustments. It will give you random errors about not able to make any changes. Random because if you repeat the same adjustments as before they will suddenly work. I would recommend this monitor if you are strictly using this for competitive play as the Freesync feature is handy and it does go up to 144 frames if your graphics card can push it. I checked all my settings including color depth and bcp (I could not find if this monitor is 8 or 6 bcp) on my AMD control panel. I also have a 2nd monitor attached to the same graphics card that has no issues with color.

Greater than one weekIt’s a gift but I haven’t opened it yet it’s for my boyfriend so I’m not sure if it’s good or not but the size is accurate and it didn’t break in the mail so that’s good

> 3 dayI am not a serious gamer but when I got a new computer I decided to also get a new monitor. Computer is pretty high end with top line graphics card. Not sure I am getting full quality out of GPU with this monitor but the picture is good. It is very thin with the power supply being external. Got it on sale so I think worth the amount I paid and very good quality that will be good for majority of users

> 3 dayGreat monitor for the price. Was in search of a gaming monitor with a 144 Hz refresh rate for the PS5, works awesome together, evrything is noticeably clearer and smoother during game play. Weve only been using it for a few days now, well see how it goes, comes with 4 year warranty for additional price. Also looks cool with the red trimming. My son is happy with this purchase!

> 3 dayI had a xfa240 but decided to upgrade(from a xbox perspective) to something that will give me 120 hz. My choices was this, Sceptre E2558B-1658A and Aoc AG241QX. The Aoc was too expensive so it was this or the Sceptra. I chose this one because of a youtube review where a guy said this monitor colors was great looking out the box. I can co sign that statement. This monitor looks beautiful out the box. The only thing i changed was freesync, response time, brightness and i was good to go. This monitor gave me 120 hz on my xbox one x which is what i was looking for. To all the xbox players go head and get you a monitor thats gives 120 hz, its really makes a difference when your playing no matter what the pc geeks say! The crosshairs they provide you are PERFECT. I had a Asus vg245h at one point and couldnt stand their oversized crosshairs but the simple red + sign on this monitor is perfect! The only cons i see about this monitor is you cant save settings, well you can partially. Everytime i turn on my xbox i have to go in settings and enable the crosshair, but what i chose for my freesync and response times stays the same so idk. I wish i could have a user settings option thats keeps everything how i like it. Another con is the port position makes the cables stick out. I had a wall mount that was close to the wall which was fine on the xfa240 but a problem on this monitor. It was a very tight fit for the hdmi cables and impossible for the dvi port. Luckily Microcenter had one with a lil more space from the wall for $10. Also the monitor has no speakers but i knew that before i made the purchase. The creative pebbles is a great addition for $20. Bottom line this was a great purchase for me. I read some reviews from a few years ago where guys said after awhile their monitor screen went all white. Hopefully LG fixed those issues and it doesnt happen to me in the future.....#fingerscrossed
