LG ADQ73373201 Genuine OEM Lint Filter Assembly (Gray) for LG Gas or Electric Dryers

The original filter that came with the dryer lasted 3 years. The hinge parts were cracking and one side broke completely. I expect this exact replacement to last just as long, maybe more.

The original lint screen broke down relatively quickly. I wish this one came with machine.

I clean the trap after every load. This looks exactly like the original, it was exactly what I needed. Its a beautiful when things actually work!

At first glance the filter seems identical to the original. The fit is not as snug however. I noticed right away that it did not collect as much lint as the original. Then our clothes have been taking FOREVER to dry. We thought the dryer was dying, even though the clothes were hot. Our house is new so knew the vent shouldnt be clogged already. Well thats exactly what it was. Today, 4 months after purchase, my husband pulled everything out and vacuumed out a ton of lint from the outgoing hose. We put the old filter back in and even though it has a hole its already collecting more lint. Laundry is drying like it should. This filter is dangerous so please make sure it fits like the original.

My lint trap cracked at the point where it bends to open. Im sure this happens to everyones lint trap at some point. It doesnt help that my kids are a bit aggressive when opening the trap. I bought this and dropped it right in. No problems. Perfect fit. Works great. I got another one to have on hand as a spare. My kids are still aggressive when clearing out the lint.

The filter on my LG dryer broke in the hinge area - probably the weakest area of those filters. I was apprehensive about ordering this replacement filter. But, happily it was an excellent purchase. It fits perfectly in my LG model DLEX8000 and is identical to the original filter.

Our dryer is 5 years old and the old one was showing its wear. I did a quick search and ordered this immediately. It’s a genuine LG part, and works great!
