> 3 dayIm not sure if this is the right product but this program will not let me cancel this post... So this post is for both regular and super heavy body gesso. The product I got was super heavy body gesso by Liquitex but Ive used both. This product (and regular gesso) was excellent, and is great for scraping on extra layers onto purchased stretched canvases, or also making textures. I like to add gesso to pre-gessoed pre-stretched canvases. I find that if you like really caking on oil paint, I strongly suggest adding more gesso. I find if I dont, the paint will seep though. For me, I use poly canvas, so its not a big deal. But I still do it to keep the pigment strong on top of the canvas and gesso. You can also use normal gesso, too. So if this is regular gesso that this post is going under, it will still work just as well!

15-06-2025I have just purchased my first set of acrylics and am eager to try them out. I need gesso to prepare my small stash of laminate squares. This was a good size to start.

> 3 dayI use the clear gesso because it has tooth and a grittiness to it. I spray a tad of water with a bunch of this and I get the best surface to paint on. I cant live without this. Go for it. Doesnt disappoint!! Will buy over and over and over.

Greater than one weekMade the paint by number feel like fine sand was over the picture and made it look like fine sand was used.

> 3 dayIts gesso. White. The coverage was pretty good; I primed two new canvases with it and covered up some damage and staining on an old one with two quick coats maybe 10 minutes after one another. No real complaints. Rinsed the brush with water and then moved onto the next thing. What more do you need here, folks? Its gesso, I have since confirmed it for everyone.
