> 3 dayI saw Nick Shabazz use this and I wanted to try it. Its expensive, the top 1/8 crusts up between uses and you have to peel the crust off each time. The product is actually pretty awesome, but its expensive and its wasteful. Im back to the messy liquid. Oh well.

Greater than one weekThis threadlock stick is one of my favorite tools in the toolbox. The squeeze bottle of threadlocker is messy and hard to use. The stick is easy and convenient. Just swipe the threads of a bolt before you install it -- the stick threadlock stays in place and doesnt harden until the bolt is installed. I find that liquid threadlocker crumbles when you remove it and has to be completely replaced each time you touch the bolt. The stick threadlock stays in place and is still partly effective after breaking the lock. For non-critical locations, or small bolts that only need a little protection, you can often reinstall the bolt without reapplying the threadlocker and still get some protection. Threadlocker in general also provides good protection against corrosion.

Greater than one weekI bought this product to replace the blue liquid in the tube. I use the stick for screws on my guns, scope mounting and pocketknives. It holds as well as the tube but is much cleaner and easier to work with. Ive used Loctite products for over 30 years and they work!

> 3 dayI have always used the liquid blue Loctite until a friend of mine told me about the glue stick looking version. I have been using this ever since. I like how it stays on whatever you apply it to, and not have to deal with running liquid stuff anymore. I work with a lot of small screws, so with this I do not waste anything because I can apply exactly how much I want. Sometimes I forget to shake the liquid Loctite before I use it but with the stick I do not have to worry about it. I will be ready to use all the time.
