Greater than one weekI use these files primarily for crafting, but they also work well on my nails. I use these to file the edges of painted wood & also decoupaged items. They work great for distressing. They are very sturdy and the grit seems to last forever. I really like having 2 different grit levels on 1 file. I would recommend them.
