> 3 dayI have a storage closet that had the old fashioned pull-chain ceiling light in it, which I did not like at all. It would be a lot of work and expense to have an electrician wire it to a wall switch. I had purchased not one but eventually two of the pricey GE brand remote switches. The first one failed in about a years time, and the second one eventually failed as well. (After replacing the battery in both thinking that was the problem) They were junk. I bought this and it has worked beautifully and has a much better design. The screw-in light socket is shorter (the GE socket was quite long and after adding a light bulb it hung down lower in the closet and the bulb would get bumped.) The on/off buttons on this are a simple light press with your finger instead of the rocker type on the GE product. They are more electronic than mechanical and seem to work much more efficiently. It gets a lot of use as I am in and out of this area a lot. The round disc type of switch on this product is a bit different. So, I bought a metal switch plate at Home Depot and the switch, which has magnets on the back, sticks to that. It also comes with some adhesive mounting squares, which I could have just stuck on the wall, but Im not a fan of those. This works perfectly and looks nice on the wall, like an upscale, designer wall switch. It is also very easy to change out the disc battery when the time comes. The back just rotates off. I have since purchased two of the remote plug version, for some other areas around my home where I just wanted a convenient on/off wall switch to control some lighting. I like that each one has a unique code so they dont interfere with each other at all. The remotes also have great range. All in all, this is an excellent product that I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayOur apartment didnt come with light switches, so these came in handy. They work just like a light switch however I can plug multiple lights into them. I plugged string Christmas lights into mine and hung them around my room. Now, I just walk in, press on and my whole room is lit up. The adhesive was also super easy to just peel and stick to wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great gift items too!

> 3 dayI used it to make my plug in drum chandelier over my kitchen island switch operated. Since I plugged it in to an outlet in my upstairs loft I didnt want to have to walk up stairs to turn it off and on. This works perfectly. No connectivity issues at all. I did have to manually turn the lamp on after I plugged it into the device before it worked. After that it operates solely through the device switch.

> 3 dayeasy to install, fast response, and works perfectly when I decide to buy the wireless switch I got super confused when I saw too many brands out there. I bought this one and that was a great choice, definitely worth the money.

Greater than one weekI have a floor lamp that is situated behind my recliner. The lamp came with a foot switch to turn it on & off (kind of hard to do when its behind the recliner... Plugged it into this little guy & bam I can turn my lamp off while sitting in my recliner (I did not install the switch on to the wall - I keep it on my end table so its easily accessible while Im in my chair). Will definitely buy another one as soon as I can figure where I need one in the house :)

> 3 dayI was able to use this to control two lamps I have. I can plug in a 2-prong plug at the top of my outlet, but I would NOT recommend trying to force a 3-prong plug. Other than the plug issue, I would recommend this for your low power drawing appliances, I have not tried this out with my kitchen appliances.

> 3 dayI ordered 3 of these and they came with unique pairings. I didnt have to do anything but plug them in. The outlet does take up more than one plug, though. So far they work perfectly but I wonder if they slow the charge a little.
