I accepted the lower quality of what I was buying due to the bulk of the product. In my mind i thought I was making a good purchase to sacrifice the longevity and durability of this brand. Unfortunately, I spent more time trying to correct the problems that the papers made.

I am sanding some oak flooring and oak stairs with a bosch get65-6n sander in turbo mode. I used a different sander to remove most of the finish from the wood and then used these 40 grit discs to remove any remaining clear finish and stain. The discs start out sanding great, but after less than a minute of sanding, they no longer work as well. They are like using 80 grit or higher grit discs at that point and just buff the wood. The discs still feel somewhat coarse to the touch, but they dont cut like they first did. Competitors discs last several times longer, at least. I pulled some old discs from my used disc pile from other companies that I considered as worn out discs and they still outperformed these worn discs that have just 1-2 mins of use. I went through about 20+ discs so far and they are all the same quality. For the price, Ill just burn through them, but its a pain to keep stopping to change discs but I am under a time crunch to get done. I even tried using my rubber sandpaper cleaner tool and it offered no more sanding life, so the paper is not getting clogged, they are no longer cutting. I must say that the hook & loop backing is fantastic!

The discs seem to be of good quality and they have worked well for me. I was disappointed that I only received one of the 800 grit discs, but twice the number of 400 grit. Amazon made the return easy and the replacement set had the right number of each grit in the assortment.

Good sanding paper, tough, lasts better then most products I have used, not prone to clogging and if it does a very fine wire brush or large eraser( buy at wood working supply) does the trick. The only slight problem is the 40 grit discs I would expect a more aggressive removal of material. On hardwoods or urethane finishes the 40 grit seems to glide over the material then dig in and remove it.

My first review wasnt good , however lotfancey stepped up . I think we both agreed I got a bad batch of discs ,within a week I had a new batch to use and put them to work right away. I have no complaints with the discs. I was working on a cedar liveadge table at the time and the 120 grit dice got rid of all the saw Marks. Great product and company to work with.

Not the best and not the worst sand paper I have ever used. Its Not too bad if your wood does not need alot of sanding but for wood that needs 180 grit or below just does not get the job done. Would not recommend.
