Great tech support from Lutron as well. Recommended when youve got a couple of floors to cover.

Great switch for the bedroom, allows two lamps to be plugged in and the best thing - it acts as an extender for your system.

This thing does a great job of extending the range but the design leaves a lot to be desired. It should be a simple white box that plugs right into the outlet similar to the lamp dimmer. If you want to extend the range it will likely have to be placed in the open. It’s unsightly with the cord and the light always in. You can do better, Lutron!

Ease of installation and solved my problem

We have an unusually shaped house and this worked perfectly to enable a Caseta device outside the range of the ethernet connected device.

Excellent Range- Within 2 months- NO ISSUES AT ALL-0 - No drop outs or lights offline! Once a switch is added- it just works We had Wink for 6 years....it went in the fire pit this weekend...literally...we burned it.. while it was on fire we used the lutron app to turn the house lights on and off to make sure the winks final moments were watching a real lighting system in action This Lutron system is worth the investment NOTE! for larger homes needing more than 75 devices (They add up very quickly) Go for the Radio RA2 system

Just the job for our house; we have about 50 caseta switches and pico remotes spread over three floors and a patio. Without this we occasionally lost connectivity to the pico remotes furthest from our base station - after installing the range extender our deployment has been completely problem free :)

I bought 2 thinking I would need them for the large coverage area but one is enough. We have thick concrete walls too, the signal is strong in the home it is. Only downside... The permanent light... All these gadgets have to prove their existence with way too bright lights. So cue the ugly electrical tape. Doh

We are seeing good coverage over 100 feet away from our Lutron Smart Hub and Repeater. Between 5 buildings! Automating all our outdoor lighting. Technical Support at Lutron tells me that our very rural environment and lack of interfearance is the reason for such broad coverage. Good quality electrical controls and conservative engineering practices are what I believe make this a superior product.
