14-06-2025I wish I would have had one of these years ago. Its perfect for working under a sink or a house or a car. With a 3 Amp Hour battery on it, it is very stable and would last all day.

> 3 dayThis thing is my most used Makita tool. It is incredibly useful - working on cars, working on the house, camping, you name it, this thing is great for it. Good brightness and the battery life is fantastic. Honestly, the only issue I have had is that the rubber bit on the button broke and so its harder to actually turn it on and off. This part is replaceable, but it still works so I have not bothered.

Greater than one weekJust purchased, and have only used it once. Its well made, lightweight, very bright on max setting, and bright on half setting. I think itll last a long time as other Makita products I own.

> 3 dayI have a few other work lights, but there are features about this one that I especially like. The tool manufacturers are all creating full lines of battery operated tools. Because the batteries often cost as much as the tool, it pretty much forces one to choose one company and stick with it, so that the batteries can be used interchangeably between tools. Ive settled on Makita, as Ive found their tools to be consistently well made and comfortable in the hand. Apart from that, what I like about this light is that: 1. Its bright. It has two settings, and the high is easy to work with. Ive used it in attics and crawl spaces and was able to see my work clearly. 2. The head is hinged in two places, so can be directed to wherever I need it. 3. Can balance on the battery, but there is also a hook built into the head, enabling it to be suspended easily. It also comes with a strap and hook, further expanding its versatility.. 4. Long battery life. Will remain bright for hours--how long, I havent found out yet. The one feature I found annoying is that the on/off button is hard to see. Its incorporated into the back (palm) side of the grip, is the same black rubber, and is flush, so it can be hard to locate. I just painted it green. Problem solved.
