Many of the quilters Ive spoken to suggest using Mary Ellens Best Press to add a little body to fabrics before cutting and also to reduce fraying. Ive found that it works very well for both. I just bought my second gallon because I dont want to run out of it!

I love this product and have begun using it more and more for smaller pieced items when quilting. It is so much easier to sew a nice straight seam on fabric that is not so limp. No residue or smell like with regular spray starch...doesnt gum anything up or leave a flaky film behind. I get no scent which is great for my allergies but there are other scents for those who like that. Lavendar is not bad.

I dont like the fact that I could not find a material safety data sheet (MSDS) or safety data sheet (SDS) anywhere. I would like to know what the ingredients of this product are. They arent on the label, and the SDS is not to be found on the internet.

I use Best Press every time I begin cutting for a project (and several times throughout the quilt making process). I prefer the unscented as a matter of personal preference. Although there are other products out there, this is, in my opinion, the best. I highly recommend it.

BEST spray ironing aid EVER!!! I actually enjoy ironing because of the way this product makes clothing look. I wear lots of linen and it gets the wrinkles out quickly. Also, it never causes the white flaking that spray starches do!! I highly recommend this superb product!

So happy to just be able to refill rather than buying smaller bottles that fill up the landfill.

I like this product. Ive used it before; problem is, I noticed that the level of product has dropped in the bottle and I havent used any, yet. The plastic bag that the bottle came in when shipped is now filling up with liquid. The bottle must have a small leak, but I cannot tell where the leak is coming from. I bought it before i needed it, but now it seems like a waste of money.

This is the best starch I have found to iron my clothes. It doesnt flake and it doesnt take a lot of it. However, it seems to be getting harder and harder to find.
