May Flash Wireless Wii U Pro Controller Adapter for PC USB

> 3 dayI bought the Mayflash SNES to USB adapter before for emulation purposes, and while that worked (and still works) great, I wanted to be wireless while gaming on my HTPC in my living room. I wanted something close to the original SNES pad as possible, and while the Dualshock 3 and 4 are excellent, they dont feel like a Nintendo product. I got this adapter to use the Wii U Pro Controller and it works without a hitch. SNES games feel incredible now. The only problem Im having, which isnt much of an issue, is I cant get it to work in DInput mode, only Xinput. The power button on the controller works fine with Xinput, but when I try to power it on with Dinput I get nothing. I have to load control panel and go to gamepad properties for it to turn on. Every time. Id rather use it in that mode just so it wouldnt conflict with my Xbox 360 adapter and the numbering of those pads, but either Im missing something or it doesnt work like that. Either way, still a very solid plug and play product.

> 3 dayI didnt realize at the time just how bad the Wii U Pro Controllers were, but this adapter helped me see what was wrong with it. By extension, same goes for Switch Pro controllers. Why are digital triggers a thing? Is this the 90s? Anyways the adapter worked, I dont really feel its worth $16 though.

> 3 dayThe mayflash I bought came out great! When the package arrived I made sure this product comes with any additional items sure enough it did. the usb adapter, a disk plus the instructions are in the plastic case. After the installation on my laptop I tested the wireless connections worked on the Windows 10 with the Wii U Pro controller, it works (Even though compatible for Windows 98, Vista, 7 and 8) Works on 10 as well. Im very satisfied to use this controller not only on the console but also for PC.

> 3 dayIve always been a big fan of the Wii U Pro controller. Its just so damn comfy! But, I play most of my games on a PC and some games just play better with a controller than with Keyboard/Mouse. So, Ive been stuck with the 360 controller for years. Which, to be fair, is a fine enough controller if youre just using analog sticks the entire time. However, some games are better played with a D-Pad and the D-Pad on the 360 controller is atrocious! So, I stumbled upon this adaptor, scooped it up in an instant, and the Wii U Pro controller is now my primary PC gaming controller! Zero connection issues, zero discernible lag, it just plain works!

> 3 dayPlug it in, install the driver from the CD or website, and use the sync buttons to pair a controller just like on the Wii U itself. All the button letters are mapped to be consistent with on-screen prompts made for Xbox controllers, which means that the positions are different. That can take some getting used to in assassins creed, for example, where the controls are displayed according to position, but I prefer having the letters consistent, in general.

> 3 dayI bought this adapter about 5 months ago so I could use my Wii U Pro Controller on my PC. It performs this task flawlessly, and without lag. It takes approximately one second to synchronize, and is recognized by every game Ive tried with it. I leave it plugged into one of the front USB ports on my computer, if that matters. It came with a DVD that probably has drivers on it, but I dont recall ever actually using it. The adapter itself has plastic construction with four small phillips screws and a fairly light cord a couple feet in length. Mine has a range of 20-25 feet, but you might get better range if you mounted it somewhere higher, since mine just sits on my computer tower.

Greater than one weekThis works perfectly out of the box and makes it easy to use a Wii U Pro Controller as either an Xinput device or up to four controllers as DirectInput devices. Itd be nice if it supported more than one Xinput device at a time, but I assume there are technical reasons for that limitation. Note that by default, the device maps the face buttons on the Pro Controller to the equivalent Xbox controller buttons based on their letter -- but A/B and X/Y are flipped in position between the controllers, so the buttons dont end up in the positions you expect. Fortunately, if you install the latest official firmware on the device, you can flip the button positions so that theyre exactly where you would expect.

> 3 dayWorks great, quick painless setup, inexpensive, I love it! I split my video gaming between a home built gaming rig and a Wii U console. I was considering purchasing an xbox controller to use for gaming PC, until I started researching if I could use my Wii U pro controllers on PC and this adapter does the trick perfectly and sames me money! I love the feel of the Wii U Pro Controller and with certain style games a gamepad just feels right (Im currently playing Gauntlet with it). I still play FPS and strategy games with Keyboard+Mouse, but this gives me more game play options for other types of games and allows me to give dual purpose to controllers I already own for my Wii U. Note: I think most modern games on Steam support gamepad controllers but only Xinput (not Dinput). With Gauntlet for example I have to use Xinput, which means only one of my Wii U Pro Controllers with this adapter. So for something like Lego Star Wars Complete Sage where local co-op play (2 people playing in the same room on one computer) I will likely have to get a 2nd one of these adapters for my 2nd controller for both pro controllers to work at the same time. If the game supports Dinput then up to 4 can be used on one adapter. This adapter allows you to switch between Dinput and Xinput (I cut the notes below directly from Mayflashs website) ●If the Input Switch is set to the Direct Input mode, the controllers are recognized as standard Human Interface Device. Your controllers can be calibrated at the Windows Gamepad Setup screen. Up to four controllers can be recognized by a single adapter while in this mode. ● Setting the switch to Xinput Mode will make it possible to fool certain PC games which lock out proper input modes from the user unless an Xbox controller is attached (for a list of these games, check Wikipedia). While in Xinput Mode Vibration Feedback is available. The drawback is that while in this mode, only one controller can be recognized by the adapter.

> 3 dayThis product shipped on time, installed easily and it worked with no fuss. I like the fact that you can switch from a generic to XBox controller. Im using it to play Titanfall on my PC and I did not have to configure anything - it plays and feels just like the XBox 360 controller. I really like the simplicity and the fact that the is no lag. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to utilize their Wii U Pro controller for playing PC games.
