> 3 dayThis is our second time to order the Medela Breastmilk Freezing and Storage 12 Pack containers. Our church uses these to transport grape juice in our Home Communion Kits. They are perfect because we fill them with grape juice and close the lid and they dont ever spill. Our old plastic containers with spouts that we previously used were always leaking into our kits. One of our young mothers suggested these containers and they have worked out perfectly. Another great feature of these containers is that they can be sanitized in the microwave. We sanitize them quite often so our elderly members stay healthy. If you are looking for containers that dont leak, these are for you!

> 3 dayIf you are someone like me that barely makes 1-2 oz per pump per breast these bottles are perfect to use with your Medela pump. It was so much convenient to use them more than the 6 oz bottles where the mere sight of seeing 0.5 oz or 1 oz in a 6 oz bottle will disappoint you. I also highly recommend it for carrying around milk in diaper bags. The lids are very secure and you will never have to worry about spilled milk. I used them in conjunction with 4 oz bottles and basically these were used to pour extra milk if my LO was not content with his feed. They were perfect size to thaw and use and less stress of getting wasted.

> 3 dayThese are really convenient because they can go from the pump, to the freezer, and they take standard nipples. They can only hold up to 2 oz frozen (need to leave room for expansion in the freezer), but I just give the baby 1-2 bottles depending on how hungry he is. It helps to minimize the amount of breast milk discarded because the baby does not finish the bottle.

> 3 dayPros 1 Worked great with the medela pump 2 Measurements on side of bottle made it easy to keep track of quantity 3 Place to write date/quantity etc with Sharpie marker 4 Keeps milk well for up to a year in a deep freezer Cons 1 The shape makes them difficult to store a bunch of them in the freezer 2 They break easily if dropped or knocked over Overall they worked great for us and weve been using them for over two years.

> 3 dayWe much prefer these over bags. We have had several bags that have leaked on us, no matter how careful we are with closure, and never have these storage bottles leaked. My husband has requested that the bags be sent to daycare and he keep the bottles! He has mentioned that after defrosting, the transfer from bag to bottle is much less delicate and leads to more spillage. I am about to order more of these bottles, so I can eliminate the use of bags entirely. I also like that they are reusable and Im not throwing away lots of plastic storage bags. The small size is nice, and allows us to more precisely control our breast milk supply for less waste, which is nice because I am not a super-producer of milk. Oh! And I have an Ameda pump and while I mostly use the Ameda bottles with it, these fit on to my pump as well.

Greater than one weekI love these little containers. I use them for premeasuring my formula when I couldn’t breastfeed/pump anymore. They are a perfect size for the formula scoops and great for travel. They’ve held up well for a few months now and I don’t foresee them breaking anytime soon.

> 3 dayThese work. I hate the size of them and wish they had larger kits available but I guess thats what the bottles are for. Even with a one month old-I find that I pump a minimum of 4 ounces on each side. So using 4 bottles per pump is really dumb. So dont expect to pump directly into these. You will constantly be switching out bottles from the breast shield and loose precious milk in the process. However if the size is no problem for you then they are fine. The quality is great, no problems with freezing. The lids secure tightly and no leaks!

> 3 dayI ordered these to supplement my breastmilk storage capacity. A regular Medela nipple fits onto the top of the storage containers. These 2.5 ounce containers are great for storing smaller amounts of breastmilk to feed to your newborn, or if you are just breaking it down into smaller amounts for storage. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to store breastmilk. For those in the U.S.A., these are considered eligible medical products by the IRS that can be purchased or reimbursed from a medical flex spending account.
