Mediabridge™ Banana Plugs - Corrosion-Resistant 24K Gold-Plated Connectors - 12 Pair/24 Banana Plugs (Part# SPC-BP2-12)

Used 12 gauge wire from Mediabridge for my new home theater setup and combined with Mediabridge banana plugs. Pleased with both products, would buy from them again. Other people using smaller gauge wire may have slippage problems with them, but they are holding snug with the larger wire, and sending a better signal I believe. I would suggest using a larger gauge wire from the start..

Good solid plugs, not too heavy, not flimsy, easy to hook up to speaker wire.

More pricey than others but these work perfectly. Bought some cheaper ones that were best sellers and they didnt even work w/ 16 gauge despite being listed 12-18.

First time using banana plugs. These were easy to connect to speaker wire and the weight and quality is excellent. So far so good. System sounds great.

Like someone else posted, I convinced myself for years I didnt need these and the standard screw down terminals were fine. I was wrong. These are a very cool little product that makes connecting your speakers easier and cleaner. I cant comment on whether or not the connections and sound improved since I bought them at the same time as I bought new front speakers, a new receiver and new speaker wire and did a complete rewiring job of the whole home theater system. I will say that my connections are a heck of a lot cleaner and easier to fiddle with if I decide I want to move some speakers around, etc. I went with the 12 pair pack which was exactly the number I needed for a 5.1 system with the fronts bi-amped (minus the sub since I already had a sub cable).
