This is a great value/quality compared to other brands. Arrived fast with excellent packaging and presentation. I had a longer Amazon branded cord that decided to give up the ghost and I heard that a shorter run length would improve sound quality. 6 foot was too short, but this 8 foot length is just perfect for running the sub woofer from the corner wall to the center receiver. Sound quality is tight and hits hard when necessary, which makes watching movies and listening to music a pleasure. Dont even bother with using the silver standard free cord the manufacturer gives you when you buy your sub woofer. Just leave that cord in the package and spend 10 bucks for gold plate Media Bridge you cheap skate.
