Melissa & Doug Construction Vehicles Wooden Chunky Puzzle (6 pcs)

Ive read where some people thought this puzzle had some quality issues but I disagree. My 22 month old grandson absolutely loves this puzzle. Not only does he like putting the pieces in, he uses them as play vehicles. Nicely painted and no rough edges.

Perfect for an Easter basket gift

Bright wooden puzzles with chunky pieces that are sized perfectly for toddlers. Our little one LOVES this puzzle. The pieces are larger sized and thick, so he not only uses them with the puzzle, but likes to slide them around the house and pretend play on a construction site. Note that other reviewers are correct-- this toy is no longer painted with car. The individual construction vehicles are wooden pieces with stickers on them, not paint. This means they are bright and attractive, but MUCH less durable. If your kiddo likes to munch on toys, the paper stickers will wither and peel right off. This is a problem primarily for younger kids.

My 2 year old grandson loves Melissa and Doug puzzles! This one of the heavy equipment vehicles can be used to move around as if they have real wheels. These puzzles are durable, brightly colored, and marvelous! I highly recommend them.

Our library has this puzzle but a crucial piece is missing. I bought this for my 1 1/2 year old grandson and he loves it! The excavator piece is his favorite so now he has his own. He puts it together and dumps it out and puts it together again.

We have several Melissa and Doug chunky puzzles that my son loves, so we ordered this one to add to the collection. Sadly, this particular puzzle (and the dinosaur one) are not the same quality as other puzzles in the series. The older chunky puzzles have an image painted on each piece. Even the back and sides of each piece are painted in primary colors. The newer chunky puzzles are pressed wood cut outs with raw (and somewhat rough) edges and backsides with decals stuck on the front. My son is still teething and sticks everything in his mouth. Within five minutes of opening this puzzle the decals are already coming off. For a product that is supposedly hand made, it is shoddy. Be warned, this is not like the older version of this puzzle!

My toddler (almost 2) loves this puzzle! I worried that it would be too simple for him because there are only six pieces, but he doesnt seem to mind. The pieces are thick and incredibly sturdy which I love. The images are very high quality and the colors are bright! I like that the artwork is painted/printed on and not a sticker so I dont have to worry about anything peeling. This puzzle will definitely be around for a long time!

The pieces are super thick and are great for play on their own or in the puzzle.
