My toddler loves this set of trains. The cars are a nice size, brightly colored and fit well in the box for clean up. I do wish there was a 9th car so that there was a car in each box.

My 20 month old loved opening these for Christmas. He wanted them opened immediately and his is intrigued by the fact they are magnetic. He is still trying to figure out how they work.

I got this as Christmas present for my just turned 2 year old Grandson who loves trains. He loves it. He caught on quickly how the magnets worked. It is the first toy he gets when he comes to Papa and Nonnis house.

My kids, 4 and 2, love this train set! Everything I wanted and will last for years.

These trains are so fun! They are easy for kids to connect since they are magnets (no tricky little hooks for kiddos) & also come apart easily. I find this creates less frustration in my kids because they know they can put it back together themselves.

Its hard to go wrong with Melissa & Doug, and I feel these trains are a wonderful example of that. Theyre colorful, chunky and easy for little hands to hold onto, the magnets seem to entertain littles to no end, and theyre even entertaining on their own let alone as a whole train set. I was surprised that my (at that point) 18 month old even loved the box they came in! We stick hot wheels and other little toys in the different compartments like its some kind of treasure chest. I cant recommend this train car set enough.

My kid loves these. He has name for each of the cars. One problem I have with the cars is that they are pretty big and center of gravity too high causes them to topple on turns.
