Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Loved this game collection if youre going to get this, get if for metal gear solid 2, and 3. i love peacewalker to but its not the same like metal gear solid 1-3 were,i like it better the original style of the metal gear solid series,but i can say peacewalker is a good change of pace. if you like the psp metal gear solid games than peacewalker is a no brainer to you and you will love it just as well as the other games. metal gear 1 and 2 are bonuses, for its time its pretty good. i personally would play metal gear 1 and 2 just for the storyline of solid snake. metal gear solid 3 is what makes me come back and play this game over and over again!

So, after years, they revamped the Metal Gear Franchise for current generation systems. I absolutely loved these games before they did this, but its a plus they added a little bit more detail to it. Really, its hard to tell at times, since on the ps2, these games looked beautiful, and still do if you pop them into a ps2. But I think for any real MGS fan, its awesome we finally get to have trophies to show off how much of the game we did to everyone. Some of the trophies...will take forever and real passion. So if youre a trophy whore, dont be stunned if this is one of the harder trophies hunts you get into. If they had included MGS1, I would of given this a 5/5 but really, there wouldnt of been any change in graphics so I can understand why they didnt re-release it.

I felt like when i was 17 and played them. The new camera for the games (except peace walker) is what I expect. Excellent game

3 incredible games in one package; an awesome value. Even if youve played MGS2 & 3 the set is worth it to experience Peace Walker and replay the other games. For Xbox 360 owners who never got to experience this series this is a must buy. For PS3 owners, this is still a must buy!!

The Metal Gear Solid HD collection is just what it says it it. A remastered version of Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, and Peace Walker for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The description does not say it, but you are actually getting the Substance and Subsistence versions of Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater, respectively. This includes all the extras included on those special re-releases (My favorite being the fully controllable camera on Subsistence), minus the Snake VS Monkey mini game in Snake Eater. The remaster looks great in 1080P HD. Frame rate from what I can tell so far is a steady and constant 60 FPS. Altogether, I would say that this re-release, despite the exclusion of Metal Gear Solid (which is only $10 on the PSN for PS3 owners), is a must buy for anyone who wants to experience Peace Walker, Sons of Liberty, and Snake Eater again in remastered HD.

The game doesnt even work, I tired playing the game and its blank. They should check their products before they send it out to customers.

Great buy for someone looking to have most of the main metal gear solid games in HD. Only real complaint is that it doesnt come with the original MGS (which konami is fixing with its legacy collection!).
