Strong material, shrinks well. A good purchase

I think I got a bargain with these shrink wrap bags. They work just as I expected. Make a very nice presentation. Initially I used a hair dryer to shrink them, and that took a little longer. A heat gun works better.

I saw a lot of negative reviews (after I bought this...oops!) BUT these worked great for me. If you are using the sealer and your bags arent sealing...try #4 instead of #3. I had a couple tear open, but that was user error. Once I got the system down, the bags sealed fine. I did the shrinking part with a hair dryer and it worked fine. Easy to do!

I had my husband and his best man sealing our soap favors for our wedding and it was definitely trial and error. Too much heat and it burns right through. Not enough and it doesnt seal properly. For the size of soap I was making I suggested for them to put them in the middle of the package and heat both ends to seal it and that helped a little we still ended up with a bit of extra plastic on some of them. But overall they did their job well. I would suggest possibly folding the plastic first before heating it to seal. That might help make it look better. We also used a grate to hold everything and did a few at a time. It was easy once you get the hang of it.

This is an amazing deal. I just received the my heat gun and am excited to start using it. The bags look great and quality is good. The price is fair. Fantastic deal.

Initially I ordered the smaller size but then for my larger soaps, I needed to buy larger bags ! these are perfect.

I use this to shrinkwrap soap. Its a great product. I will be ordering more in the future.

I do not usually purchase this brand and will not purchase it in the future. They smell a little skunky and the scent is lingering on my hands simply from handling them. I cannot use them in my business because the skunky smell got worse when I applied heat to shrink wrap some lavender soaps and completely cover the lavender scent. There is no way I will sell or even give away any of my products that have been sealed in these bags. However, I will take them out to our woodworking shop so they can be used to contain small bits, screws, etc. where smell does not matter.

So this product asked me to rate drying power but I did not, because I have no idea what they mean by that. Do they mean shrinking power? Because they shrink very nicely as long as you use a heat gun (do not try to substitute a hair dryer, it will look like crap). If they actually mean drying, thats not a thing that shrink wrap does, and if your product needs to dry (like bath bombs), you should be very sure its finished before you shrink wrap it.
