I purchase this product for my father who has a tendency to roll off the bed. I was using a bed rail but it was difficult for him to get on and off the bed. The bed bumper made it much easier for him to get on and off the bed. He has not fallen off the bed since. One very important thing to know about the bed bumper is that it has to be on the mattress itself because it will slide if its sitting on a sheet, even if it is under a fitted sheet. I do have to adjust it periodically because he is an active sleeper and it will get out of alignment. I would highly recommend deep pocket fitted sheets so the bumper will remain in place better. Overall, Im very pleased with the product. It works exactly the way I expected it to.

Expensive but works. My son climbed out of the crib and fell when he was about 16 months old. We converted his ikea sundvik crib into a toddler bed but he kept rolling out of the bed. This actually keeps him on the bed even though he can climb over it. Bumper stays in place. The length of this bumper fits the sundvik and therefore all crib sized mattresses perfectly. It will be shorter on all larger beds.

Wow what a life saver!! I was looking for a good bumper or guard rail for my daughter’s toddler bed for awhile. I first ordered the metal one because i felt like it would be a safer choice. However, my daughter hated it and wouldnt sleep in her bed. So after reading some reviews in this bumper, I ordered two one for my daughter and one for my sons regular bed. I highly recommend it!!! It feels safe, comfortable and not even noticeable. My kids move a lot in their sleep but never once fell off the bed. I love these bumpers and recommend them to everyone.

I LOVE this. We switched my son into a toddler bed because he was climbing out of his crib. He didn’t like the open bed & it seemed to scare him. I put this under his sheet (I got one that fit along the entire mattress by mistake instead of leaving some space like they say to) but he loved it. Laid down, now he didn’t stay in bed, so he could get out but he couldn’t ROLL out. He needed to use force. He used it about a month & then wanted it off. I’m keeping it out for now when we switch him to a real bed, he’s in a converted crib. I’m assuming that’ll make him nervous for a little so we’ll use this again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I bought this for my 2.5 year old son who just moved up to a twin bed. He rolls a ton in his sleep and we were having a lot of issues with him falling off the bed. This product has worked just as intended and has given me great peace of mind that my son will stay put throughout the night. Definitely recommend if it’s age appropriate for your child!

This product is genius! We bought this when my then almost 3 year old was being moved into a bottom bunk bed from a crib. I knew she needed some sort of rail to prevent her from falling off the bed because she is a crazy sleeper that moves around a ton, but I hated all the options available in the toddler rail department. I saw this and decided to give it a try. It works like a dream and over a year later, she has never fallen out of her bed thanks to this. She sleeps very comfortably with it, often snuggling with it or laying her head on it like a pillow...something that would not be possible with a plastic or wood rail. It does move around just a bit, but never enough that it falls completely off of the bed, a quick adjustment every so often moves it back into place. I have it under the mattress pad and fitted sheet and that seems to keep it in place for the most part. I wish I had this for my other the kids when they were younger. I may even get another one for my 8 year old who is also a very crazy sleeper and bangs into the wood rail on his bunk bed all night long.

This is such a great product. My daughter is 3 years old and does not roll off the bed. It doesn’t add bulkiness to the bed which I really like.

These are great. I’ve had two for six months and just bought another pair for my youngest. They are firm enough to feel safe putting on your little’s bed, yet comfortable enough to rest your head on (my little will sometimes shift and sleep on). Yes, they do move rather easily; however, buy snug fitting sheets and they’ll do a better job staying in place. Not a deal breaker, just follow their instructions. If you have an extreme mover at night, you may have trouble keeping them from toppling over a bumper, but it’s worked great for my little.

We already had a guardrail, but the bed had no head or footboard (and we couldnt find a smaller guardrail), so we needed a little something extra to keep our buddy from falling off the foot of the bed. Since its the least expensive option on Amazon, we actually took off its protective pillow cases and cut the foam to fit the short edge of the mattress. We put the cases back on, folded over the extra, and crammed it under his sheets. It works great! Its tall enough that he doesnt try to roll over it in his sleep. Plus, we kept the scrap to make a silly shaped play pillow. We do have to tighten the sheets every night to keep it from sliding off the edge, but otherwise it was a great secondary measure in addition to the guardrail to keep him safe in bed.

I love this product. My husband and I share a queen size bed. He is a sleep ninja, as I like to call it. I would wake up multiple times a night with his feet in my side, or him practically on top of me. I placed this under the sheet, right down the middle of the bed to give us our separate sides. Last night was the first night we used it and he woke up before his alarm this morning, smiling because he was well rested from not moving around all night. I didntt have to wake him up in the middle of the night and make him move. If you are debating this product, buy it right now. You will not regret it. Fits perfectly under the fitted sheet.

Safe + Secure for All Ages | We’ve got you covered!

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall because he had no bed bumper to protect him at all… The Milliard Bed Bumper is the ideal transitioning tool for graduating your toddler from crib to bed. If a child gets too close to the edge of the bed the bumper serves as a ‘passive safety’ reminder to return to the center of the bed. We designed our bumper with firm foam so that it is difficult for a child to roll over it, yet still soft to the touch and easy to purposefully climb over. The bumper will give your child the sense of security needed for a good night’s sleep.

Easy Care

Our cover is removable and machine washable.

  • A waterproof backing lines the cover to keep the foam damage free which is oh-so essential at the toilet training age.

Super Soft Surface

The cover is made of a super soft bamboo fabric which is natural, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, Phthalate & BPA Free.

  • Non-slip bottom to keep the bumper securely in place.

Great for All Ages

  • Unlike a bed rail, the bumper allows a parent to join the child in bed during bedtime.
  • Size: 52x7x4.5"

Simple Setup

Traditional bed rails are a pain to install but the bumper is easily placed under your fitted sheet.
When used on an standard bed the bumper leaves space for your child to climb around and not over it – the bumper fits the length of a toddler bed as well!

Bedtime Watchdog

Traditional bed rails can have a space between the mattress and rail leaving an unsafe condition. With the bed bumper underneath the fitted sheet, your child won"t slip between the cracks. A foam bumper will never deflate without notice and there"s no small parts to worry about. Our bed bumper was lab tested for safety and conformity to federal regulations for portable bed rails to ensure your child"s well being. The quintessential guardian of bedtime.

Bedrail vs. Bed Bumper:

  • Safer, eliminates entrapment issue
  • Easier to install
  • More portable for travel
  • Better for bedtime
  • More aesthetic
