Milwaukee 2278-20 M12 12:1 Infrared Temp-Gun

This Temp-gun works great! We used it to monitor the space for our puppies to ensure that the heat from the lamp was being dispersed evenly around the pen. It is so fast, light weight, and works perfectly for us!

What a cool tool, I bought it for cooking to monitor temps and what not, seems to be very accurate! Milwaukee doesn’t disapoint!

If using this to get a temp reading on air it can take some getting use to as you need to angle it different to try and get the correct temperature. I use this for automotive and can be irritating trying to get the vent temp for heat and a/c. If using it on an exhaust manifold or something without moving air it works great (DPF, SCR, turbo outlet, intake temp, a/c line, radiator and CAC)

what is the point of having a readability of 0.1 degrees when the accuracy is only + or -2 degrees C (3 degrees F) It is meaningless. The fluke is much better. + or - 1 degree or 1% whichever is greater.

Nit a lot to say about a thermometer. It takes Temps and is pretty accurate

Purchased to keep an eye on grill temperatures as well as 3d print bed temperature.

I use it for HVAC works great on non shiny objects!! Have to rap cooper pipes with black tape to get accurate reading.
