14-06-2025I loved these SO much. I do wish they were a tad brighter but for the price, I can’t complain. STILL BUY THEM JUST TREAT THEM WITH CAUTION! Sadly, the wire frayed in a couple places within under a month of having them. I took them off my 3m hooks on my ceiling when I moved, and when I went to set them back up, I noticed the double wire wasn’t always connected and they no longer worked :( Def purchase them but treat them delicately!

> 3 dayI replaced a broken set with this one. This one is acting weird though. It will randomly flash and cycle through all 8 settings, then turn off, turn back on, and start flashing again. It can be stopped with the remote, but it does it EVERY TIME i turn them on (after about 30 minutes). It is kind of frustrating, but i think it is just my set as the previous 2 sets did not do this. UPDATE: I have had this set up for almost a month now and the random flashes and changing cycles has continued. Not excited about this, but my return window has closed now.

> 3 dayThe lights are really pretty and they came packaged vey neatly wrapped around a piece of circular plastic, unlike what the other reviews state. I am afraid after reading reviews of their safety because I have them around my child’s canopy bed and I would not want anything catching fire near her. I’ll probably keep them unplugged when we aren’t using them and off at night. Easy to put up. I will say that the remote has to be held close to the white base of the lights to work which is a little annoying. I’m hoping these are better than what other reviewers say but for now they seem to do the trick.

> 3 day*DO NOT GET THESE IF YOU HAVE A SEIZURE DISORDER*The lights themselves are great quality, I have them strung up on my wall and it’s so pretty! ....however... I do have one qualm tho— the remote has TOO MANY SETTINGS. And many of those settings are “cycle modes” in which the light pattern changes every few minutes, which is frustrating if you really like one of those patterns because one minute you’re sitting enjoying some soft twinkles and the next you’re staring at a STROBE light. And the vast majority of the settings are very quick flashing. If you’re looking for a party light situation this probably wouldn’t be a bad fit for you but unless you only want to use the solid light mode these may not be the fit for you if you’re looking for ambiance.

> 3 dayI put this on our Christmas Tree. Its nice. You can select different modes in the controller or in the remote. I guess the challenge is, its hard to detangle. Just need someone to help you keep it straight.

> 3 dayEverything about the lights worked great for a solid year and a half. Then they started getting wonky. The timer would randomly turn the lights on, and onto random settings. The would reset themselves, or completely turn off and refuse to turn back on. Unplugging it for a time sometimes helped, but for the most part the whole thing had a mind of its own. For $10, a year and a half of frequent/heavy use isnt too bad.

> 3 dayI was stringing these lights on a large indoor trees branches (not a Christmas Tree) and the spool came in handy keeping the string out of my way as I laid it out. I used a clip style clothespin to temporarily keep it from unravelling if I needed to take a break. I was pleased that the remote had many options. I wanted something subtle, and the #4 setting which alternately turns on only every other light was subtle enough. I also dimmed them as much as possible. Everything I needed came in this kit, the spool, light string with a male usb on end, a converter plug with a female usb plug on one side and a regular 2 prong male electric plug on the other, and a remote (with the battery). The light string has a permanent controller near the end and the button on it can be used to turn the string lights on, press again to cycle through the modes of light display, then to off. Or you can use the remote. The remote gives you the additional capability of setting a timer and also dim the lights. The silver wire has a clear coating on it, but looks attractive. Be aware that It does catch the light sometimes, as any metal would. A sturdy string, I had to redo my project twice and had no problems with the string working as intended. My minor complaint about the remote is the Off is green and On is red which is the opposite of convention in the USA. My wish list for light sets is that they make a brown or black wire with warm white lights. I have only seen dark wire with orange for Halloween. Dark wire would prevent the silver or copper wires from catching the light and calling attention to itself. Also many vendors make WARM white lights ONLY available on COPPER wire, and COOL white lights ONLY available on SILVER wire. This vendor provides SILVER string with WARM white lights. Some lights strings made have a very yellow warm white, I think this string looks natural. Continued success!

> 3 dayIf you tangle these, good luck ever using them again because it is a pain to untangle
