> 3 dayWoo hoo! We live in Arizona and we want to start hiking. Well, we need water to hike and we do not need to be carrying a water bottle as were trekking up a mountain. Hence, a lot of hikers use hydration backpacks. So far Ive used it twice and its been GREAT! It keeps the water fairly cool, but my favorite is that it doesnt taste like plastic. Ugh, I hate that. But this doesnt and I love that! I was turned on to this brand, Miracol, through an offer for a regular water bottle. My husband uses it and swears by it. Its made us very big promoters of its products and this backpack is no different.

> 3 dayNice bag for the price. Weird across the chest strap placement making it uncomfortable for a large breasted woman. Good deal and great for short hikes.

> 3 dayThis is the first and only hydration pack Ive owned, so take this review for what its worth. I wanted something for day hikes on the Appalachian trail and elsewhere and after checking around a bit I settled on this. I absolutely love it! It seems to be constructed really well and with just enough space for my needs. I carry a small first aid kit, poncho, some energy bars, lights, lighter, compass, map and a few other appurtenances of short stints in the great outdoors. Im a mid-sized man and this sits very comfortably on my back, and when hiking I never have to mess with it until theres a need. With a 2L capacity, the bladder carries an ample supple of water and the mechanics of the mouthpiece works for me without any trouble. I would recommend using the bladder for water only since cleaning out gunk from the tubing and mouthpiece will be a challenge.
